Why do you think iPhones are the most popular phone in the world?
1. 내가 쓴 글.
I don't think that iPhones are the most popular phone in the world. Therefore I can't answer it in the above question. I don't know about iPhones well. I don't have any words that I can say about iPhones because of the reasons that I explained in the above. However, I can tell you my elder son, who is working in the United States, uses the iPhone. He majored in Computer Science, and the fact that he uses the iPhone instead of Samsung Galaxy unit means that iPhones are the more popular than Samsung. However, I will use Samsung Galaxy forever even though my son suggests to use the iPhone saying it's better than Samsung unit. Why? I am a Korean and I am very familiar with Samsung galaxy series which I have used for about many years. I don't have much knowledge about iPhones, so I don't have anything to tell you about it. However, I can find more people, who are young, using iPhones than Samsung galaxy. It makes me only guess that iPhones are the most popular phone in the world. However still I don't agree with it. Samsung galaxy unit is the best to me.

Notes:
VERB: suggest
SUGGEST patterns:
= suggest + [gerund (verb~ing)]
= suggest + [noun] + [base form of the verb]
= suggest + that + [noun] + [base form of the verb]
suggest 뒤에는
동명사가 오거나
명사랑 동사원형 오거나
that과 명사랑 동사원형이 온다.
Examples:
I suggest going to the internet cafe.
I suggest you go to the internet cafe.
I suggest that you go to the internet cafe.
suggest going to the cafe..
suggest you go to cafe..
suggest that you go to cafe..
아하.
that vs. which (American English)
That - limits the meaning of the word it modifies and is important to get the meaning of the sentence. Since it contains important information, it is not set off with commas:
I like the bag that my father gave me.
The office that has two conference rooms is closed today.
that 과 which 이거 언제나 헷갈리는데 이번엔 확실히 기억해두자. 파이팅!
that은 아주 중요한 사항. 절대로 빼놓으면 안되는 거.
I like the bag that my father gave me.
그치. 어떤 가방이냐. 바로 아빠가 준 가방. 그러니 that 이하 문장 빼면 말이 안되지.
The office that has two conference rooms is closed today.
그냥 일반적인 사무실이 아니라 두개의 회의실이 있는 그 사무실이 오늘 문을 닫은 거니까. 요것 역시 빼면 안되니까 that을 쓴다. 기억하자. that은 빼면 안 될 아주 중요한 사항일 때!
Which - When the clause contains unimportant or additional information, it can be set off with commas. If you remove a clause with which from a sentence, the meaning does not change significantly.
(CORRECT) There was an earthquake in Japan, which is bad news.
Let us try removing the “which” clause:
(STILL CORRECT) There was an earthquake in Japan.
(CORRECT) Our office, which has two conference rooms, is located in Toronto.
Let us try removing the “which” clause:
(STILL CORRECT) Our office is located in Toronto.
Which는 전혀 중요하지 않은 있어도 없어도 되는 상황. 즉 그 문장이 빠져도 전혀 문제될 게 없는 경우 콤마와 함께 쓴다.
There was an earthquake in Japan, which is bad news.
그렇지. which 이하는 있어도 없어도 메인 문장에 전혀 지장이 없다. 아하. 그럼 which 이하를 빼볼까?
There was an earthquake in Japan.
그치. which 문구를 빼도 내용을 전하는 데 전혀 문제가 없다. 아하. 요럴 때 which를 쓰는 거야.
Our office, which has two conference rooms, is located in Toronto.
내 사무실, 방이 두개인데, 토론토에 있다. 내 사무실이 토론토에 있다는 게 중요하지 그게 방이 두개건 몇개건 무슨 상관이람. 이럴 때 which! 그럼 which를 빼고 문장을 만들어보자.
Our office is located in Toronto.
하하 뜻을 전달하는 데 아무 문제 없다. 오케이. 이젠 확실히 that과 which를 구별할 수 있겠다. 다음 영작에 적용해보자.
