아무리 생각해봐야,답은 이미 정해져 있어! -2.

서른 즈음에 떠나는 봉사활동 -

No matter how much I think,

The answer is already set!_ 2.

코이카에 지원을 하고, 서류전형을 통과하고, 면접을 보고, 신체검사를 통과할때마다 정말 가게 되는걸까.. 하는 고민 또한 커졌다. 앞자리가 바뀌는 이 시점에 2년동안 해외봉사를 한다는 것이 과연 옳은 선택일까?

알고보니 이 고민은 지금 20대이든, 30대이든 나이에 상관없이 코이카를 생각하는 사람들이면 누구나 하고 있는 고민이었다.

After I applied to KOICA, every time I went through the process, did I really go to volunteer activities? Is it right to serve overseas for two years at this point?

As you can see, this is the worry of anyone who thinks about KOICA, regardless of their age, whether they are in their twenties or thirties.

사실 일이나 돈은 다시 모으고 다시 시작하면 되지만, 지금과 같은 시간들은 우리 모두에게 다시 오지 않을 것이기 때문에 이 시간과 사람들이 가장 아쉬웠다. 

평소에도 일이 10시에 끝나면 바로 만나서 바다를 보러 갔다가 오고, 맛있는 것을 먹으러 가곤 했던 우리들이 누군가는 결혼을 하고, 가정이 생기면 다함께 시간을 보낼 수 있는 날이 많지 않을 것이 분명하기 때문이다. 

매일매일 계속계속 생각했지만.. 그래도 답은 정해져 있었다. 

흘러가는 시간을 붙잡을 수는 없었다. 

그리고 빠르게 굴러가던 내 인생에 잠시 쉼표를 찍기로 했다. 

In fact, we can collect and re-start work or money, but this time and people were most sorry because the same times will not come to all of us again.

It is obvious that we do not usually have many days to spend time together when somebody marries and a family comes to us.

I kept thinking about it every day ... but the answer was fixed.

I could not catch the time that flowed.

I decided to put a comma for a while in my life.

영월교육원

1월초부터 2달동안 영월에 있는 교육원에 지내면서 여러가지 교육을 받았다. 

봉사단원의 파견을 위한 교육이 커리큘럼에 맞춰 아침부터 저녁까지 빡빡하게 진행됐다.

처음에는 완전히 다른 환경에서 낯선 사람들과 함께 하는 것이 너무도 힘들 것 같았지만,

 지금까지 해왔던 것처럼 좋은 사람들을 만났고 두달의 교육기간동안 잊지못할 추억을 남길 수 있었다. 

I have been studying at Yeongwol Education Center for two months since early January. 

In accordance with the curriculum, the training for dispatching volunteers was carried out tightly.

At first it seemed so hard to be with strangers in a totally different environment, but I was able to meet good people and leave good memories during the two months of education.

너무 좋은사람들과 만든 서남아C방 마스코트 '씨방이' 

두달의 교육이 끝나고 출국까지 약 15일 정도의 시간이 주어졌다. 

그동안 차근차근 필요한 것들을 주문하는데, 백만원도 넘게 쓴것 같다 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

이제 막 나의 몽골생활이 시작되려 하고 있었다. 

After two months of training, I was given about 15 days before departure.

I bought the necessary stuff, but it seems to have spent over 1 million won.

My Mongolian life was about to begin.
