I make a date for golf,
and you can bet your life it rains.
I try to give a party,
and the guy upstairs complains.
I guess I'll go through life,
just catching colds and missing trains.

I've had the measles and the mumps.
And every time I play an ace,
my partner always trumps.

앞으로의 내 시간에 대한
확정의 문장에 순간 철렁거린다
온 감각이..
순간 다리의 힘이 풀리고
머리가 무겁다..
마음이 슬픈 건지
힘이 없는 건지.
그럼에도 불구하고..
예측하지 말아야 한다
그냥 있는 그대로 살아야 한다.
그렇게 하기로 했다.
계획을 세우고
달리고 다지고 다듬고
그 시간이 나를 만들어주었지만
앞만 보다 보니
옆에 있는 놓치지 않아야 할 틈을 보지 못했다.
아니 안 보려고 했는지도 모르겠다.
내 인생을 훔쳐가는 시간의 도둑이
되버린 존재는 내가 가장 변화시키고자
최선의 노력을 다했던 거였다
아이러니하게도..
오늘 첫 우연의 기억이
무척 설레었는데
예상치 못했던 말 한마디에
마음이 철렁거린다..
그렇지.. 그럴 수도 있지
인정하자
그리고 억지로 증명하려고 하지 말자
예측하려고도 하지 말고
지금은 그저
잔잔히 나를 내버려 두자..
엔진을 끈 채로..
진짜 내 목소리로 나에게 물어물어
가보는 거다.
그럼에도 불구하고 확실한 건
내가 선택한 이 길은
맞다는 모든 이의 이야기...
