Exercises:
연습문제는 정답을 맞히는 것이 아니라, 전체 문장을 입으로 빠르고 자연스럽게 말할 수 있는 것이 목표입니다.
I. Use as + adjective/adverb + as and complete each sentence so that it means the same as the one above it. as + 형용사/부사 + as 를 써서 위의 문장과 같은 뜻의 문장을 완성하세요.
Example: Dave is older than Julie.
→ Julie isn't as old as Dave.
1. You're very angry, and I'm very angry, too.
→ I'm _____________________ you.
2. My hair is long and Amy's hair is long, too.
→ Amy's hair is _________________ mine.
3. New York is busier than Houston.
→ Houston isn't ________________ New York.
4. You cook better than me.
→ I don't cook _______________ you.
5. She worked harder than the other employees.
→ The other employees didn't work ____________ her.
Answer Key
Example: Dave is older than Julie.
데이브는 쥴리보다 나이가 많다.
→ Julie isn't as old as Dave.
쥴리는 데이브만큼 나이가 많지 않다.
1. You're very angry, and I'm very angry, too.
너는 아주 화가 나 있고, 나도 아주 화가 나 있어.
→ I'm as angry as you.
나는 너 만큼 화가 나 있어.
2. My hair is long and Amy's hair is long, too.
내 머리는 길고, 에이미의 머리도 길다.
→ Amy's hair is as long as mine.
에이미의 머리가 내 머리만큼이나 길다.
3. New York is busier than Houston.
뉴욕은 휴스턴보다 붐벼요.
→ Houston isn't as busy as New York.
휴스턴은 뉴욕만큼 붐비진 않습니다.
4. You cook better than me.
네가 나보다 요리를 잘한다.
→ I don't cook as well as you.
나는 너만큼 요리를 잘하진 않아.
5. She worked harder than the other employees.
그녀는 다른 직원들보다 열심히 일했다.
→ The other employees didn't work as hard as her.
다른 직원들은 그녀만큼 열심히 일하지 않았다.
