Another Day of Sun
영화 <라라랜드>(2016)의 신나는 도입부에 커다란 화면을 가득 채웠던 알록달록한 음악, <Another Day of Sun>은 기분 좋은 날 들으면 더 기분이 좋아진다. 꿈은 이루어졌을 때보다 처음 품게 되었을 때, 그때가 가장 행복한 것 같다. 그러니 작은 꿈 하나씩 매일매일 마음에 품는 날들이었으면!
혹시라도 이담에 구독자 숫자가 백 명쯤 되는 날이 올지도 모르니까, 오늘은 꼭 기억을 해 두어야 할 것 같다. 브런치에 올린 글의 하루 조회수가 처음으로 100이 넘은 날이다. 방금 막 142가 되었다. 구독자 숫자도 11이 되었다. 어떤 글은 '라이킷' 숫자가 29가 되었다고 소식이 왔다. 이 모든 일이 처음 있는 일이다.
브런치라는 곳은 여전히 낯설기만 한데, 가만 보니, 구독자가 만 명이나 되고, 한 번 글을 올리면 수백 명이 하트를 뿅뿅 눌러주는 멋진 글을 쓰시는 고수들이 가득한 공간인 것 같아, 내심 소심하게 꼼지락꼼지락 꾸린 작은 글들을 구슬 꿰듯 한 편 한 편 써 모으고 있는데, 오늘 내게 이런 일이 일어난 것이다.
가을로 가는 문턱에, 촉촉하니 비도 내린 10월의 오늘 이 멋진 날에, 앞으로 꾸준히 한 번 써 보세요, 토닥토닥 힘 내라고 초콜릿 선물 받은 느낌이다. 크리스마스까지, 앞으로 석 달 정도 남았으니, 그 기간 동안 꾸준히 한 번 써 봐야겠다고 다짐해 본다. 처음이란 언제나 설레는 일이니까. 다시 안 올 오늘을 기념해야지!
