마스턴운용, 조직개편···섹터 별 전문성·자산관리 강화

컨트롤 타워인 FMC 신설…프로젝트에 대해 통일된 투자 기준과 원칙 적용

마스턴투자운용이 급변하는 시장과 미래에 대응해 투자자에게 신뢰받는 조직을 만들고자 조직개편을 단행했습니다.

우선 마스턴투자운용은 국내 프로젝트에 통일된 투자 기준과 동일한 투자 방향성을 제시하기 위해 국내부문 내 ‘Fund Management Committee(이하 FMC)’를 신설했습니다.

FMC는 국내 투자 및 개발사업 전반에 대한 전략 및 관리 방안을 분야별 전문가들이 모여 제시하는 컨트롤 타워입니다.

홍성혁 대표이사가 위원장을 맡고 주거·오피스·물류의 ‘섹터 별 총괄’ 각 1인이 담당 섹터 프로젝트 전문성을 강화하는 역할을 하게 됩니다. 그 밖에 CM(Capital Market), 개발관리, 자산관리, 펀드관리, 리서치 전문가들을 포함해 총 9인으로 구성됩니다.

최근 중요성이 더욱 부각되고 있는 자산관리(Asset Management · AM) 역량 강화에도 방점을 찍었습니다. 기존에 자산관리 업무를 맡고 있었던 국내부문 투자운용5본부를 ‘자산관리본부’로 바꾸고, 실물 자산에 대해 통합 운용하도록 했습니다.

물류 섹터 프로젝트에 필요한 역량을 집중하기 위해 ‘물류 통합조직’을 운영합니다. 이를 위해 국내부문 내 물류 관련 조직과 물류센터 임대 마케팅을 담당하는 물류플랫폼팀을 단일 본부 산하로 편제했습니다.

블라인드 펀드를 모집하고 운용하는 CM부문은 ‘CM본부’로 국내부문에 편입해 투자운용조직과 시너지를 낼 수 있도록 했습니다. 개발 사업의 건설 부분 전반을 지원하는 개발관리본부도 국내부문으로 이동했습니다.

남궁훈 마스턴투자운용 대표이사 사장은 “지속되는 고금리 환경에 따른 위기를 마스턴의 ‘원 팀(One team)’ 문화로 돌파하고자 한다”며, “이번 조직개편을 통해 회사 전체 사업 포트폴리오를 재점검하고 자산 관리와 투자 효율성 제고에 만전을 기할 것“이라고 말했습니다.

They established the 'Fund Management Committee (FMC)' within the Domestic Group to establish unified investment criteria and direction for domestic projects. FMC serves as a control tower where experts from various fields gather to propose strategies and management plans for domestic investment and development projects.

Calvin Hong, head of the Domestic Group, serves as the chairman, and 'Sector-specific Expertises' will charge each residential, office, and logistics sector. The committee consists of a total of nine members, including experts in capital markets, development management, asset management, fund management, and research.

They also aim to strengthen their capabilities in asset management. They renamed the 'Investment Management Division 5' to the 'Asset Management Division' and integrated their operations for tangible assets.

To focus on the logistics sector, they also operate a 'Logistics Integration Organization.' For this purpose, they reorganized the logistics-related organizations within the Domestic Group and 'Logistics Platform Team' which is responsible for logistics center leasing marketing under a single division.

The Capital Market Group, responsible for recruiting and operating blind funds, was incorporated into the Domestic Group as the 'Capital Market Division' to synergize with the investment management organization. The Development Management Division, which supports the construction aspect of development projects, also moved to the Domestic Group.
