when the starry sky is the map of all possible paths —
ages whose paths are illuminated by the light of the stars.
Everything in such ages is new and yet familiar,
full of adventure and yet their own.
The world is wide and yet it is like a home,
for the fire that burns in the soul
is of the same essential nature as the stars.

우리 앞에 열린 길을 지도처럼 알려주는 시대는.
그리고 별빛이 그 길을 훤히 밝혀주는 시대 또한 행복하여라.
이런 시대의 모든 것은 새롭고 친숙하며, 모험으로 가득 차 있으면서도
결국은 자신의 소유가 되기 때문에.
세계는 넓지만 마치 자기 집과 같은데,
왜냐하면 그의 영혼 속에서 타오르는 불꽃은
별빛과 본질적인 속성에서 똑같기 때문이다.
