그들의 검 스무 자루보다 그대의 눈빛이 내겐 더 위험하게 느껴진다. 죄를 짓고 잘 되는 사람도 있고, 덕을 베풀고 망하는 사람도 있다. 사람들이 저지르는 악은 죽은 후에도 살아남지만 선은 흔히 그들과 함께 땅에 묻힌다. 모두를 사랑하고, 몇 사람만 믿고, 누구에게도 잘못을 저지르지 말 것. 저렇게 작은 촛불이 어쩌면 이렇게 멀리까지 빛을 낼까! 진저리 나는 세상에서 착한 행동도 저렇게 빛날 거야.
