Fairy tales do not tell children that dragons exist. Children already know that dragons exist. Fairy tales tell children that dragons can be killed. The Bible tells us to love our neighbors, and also to love our enemies; probably because generally they are the same people. The way to love anything is to realize that it may be lost.

동화는 아이들에게 용이 어딘가에 살고 있다는 이야기를 해주는 게 아니다. 아이들은 이미 용의 존재를 알고 있다. 동화는 아이들에게 용이 죽을 수도 있다는 이야기를 해 주는 것이다. 성경은 우리에게 이웃을 사랑하라고, 또한 원수를 사랑하라고 말한다. 아마 일반적으로 그들이 똑같은 사람들이어서 그런 것 같다. 무언가를 사랑하는 방법은 그것이 사라질지 모른다는 것을 깨닫는 것이다.
