모여들기 시작했어요.
하지만 동물들은 잿빛 오리는 쳐다보지도 않았어요.
농장에서 제일 장난꾸러기인 쥬피터 말 아저씨는
회색 오리를 쓱 쳐다보고는
"아, 얘가 그 막내구나.
난 먼지 뭉치가 굴러다니는 줄을 알았잖아. 하하하."
라며 말을 던졌어요.
엄마 오리는 제일 작고 약하게 태어난 막내 잿빛 오리를
다른 아기들보다 더 가까이 두고 보살폈어요.
그리고 엄마 오리는 잿빛 아기오리를 위해
매일 기도를 했어요.

어렵게 주워 담지 않게 해 주세요.
그리고 어떤 일을 겪든
상처받지 않게 해 주세요.
