등나무꽃

동네 마실을 나섰다가 초등학교 운동장에서 등나무 두 그루가 만들어 낸 울창한 꽃그늘이 반가웠다.
동네 초등학교에서 발길을 붙잡는 등나무꽃 1꽃이 한창 피고 있는 줄 알고 그 아래 섰는데, 어느새 꽃이 지고 있었다.
지금부터는 커다란 콩처럼 생긴 열매로의 변신을 꾀하려나 보다.

'등나무'를 검색했더니 난데없이 '화투'가 등장했다.
화투가 열두 달, 그리고 열두 가지의 꽃 그림이라는 사실은 알고 있었으나, 4월의 꽃이 등나무꽃이라는 것은 처음 알았다.
더불어 4월의 꽃이 등나무꽃이라면 위쪽에서 꽃이 내려오는 모양이어야 한다는 것, 일본식 화투의 컬러에는 등나무꽃이 보라색을 띠고 있고, 한국식 화투는 컬러를 단순화하면서 등나무꽃이 까맣게 변했다는 것도 알게 되었다.
알쓸신잡(알아두면 쓸데없는 신기한 잡학사전) 수준의 정보가 되려나?
오늘도 새로운 정보 하나에 혼자 신났다.

I thought it would be nice to read a book leisurely under the shade, but I didn’t have time to stay long, so I backed off.
I searched for ‘wisteria’ and ‘hwatu’ came up out of nowhere.
I knew that Hwatu was a picture of twelve months and twelve types of flowers, but this was the first time I knew that the flower for April was wisteria.
I also learned that if the flower of April is a wisteria flower, the shape of the flower coming down from the top is correct, and that the color of the Japanese-style Hwatu has purple wisteria flowers, and that the colors of the Korean-style Hwatu have been simplified and the wisteria flowers have turned black.
Would this be useful information if you knew it?
Today, I was excited by a new piece of information.
散歩に出たところ、初等学校の運動場で藤2本が作り出した濃い花の陰が嬉しかった。
花が盛んに咲いていると思ってその下に立ったが、もう花が散っていた。
これからは大きな豆の形をした実への変身を始めるようだ。
陰の下で余裕を持って本を読めば良いと思うばかりで、長く留まる状況ではなく退いた。
「藤」 を検索したところ、突然「花札」 に関する情報があった。
花札が12 ヶ月、そして12種類の花の絵だという事実は知っていたが、4月の花が藤の花だということは初めて知った。
4月の花が藤の花なら、上から花が降りてくる形が正しいこと、日本式の花札の カラー には藤の花が紫色で、韓国式の花札は カラー を単純化しながら藤の花が黒くなったことも知った。
これは知ってみれば役に立つ レベル の情報になるかな？
今日も私は一つの新しい情報に一人で楽しい。
