냉장고에서 여러 날 묵혀둔 맥주를 한 캔 꺼냈다.
꿀꺽꿀꺽, 캬~
하루 종일 바쁘게 쫓아다닌 덕에, 양어깨에 살짝쿵 내려앉은 피로를 한방에 훅 날렸다.
모름지기 맥주는 시원해야 제 맛이다.
눈밭에 묻어 놓고 설산 등반을 닷새쯤 하고 내려와서 눈 속을 헤집고 그걸 찾아 마시면 진짜 꿀맛이다.
설산 등반, 그 난이도 높은 놀이는 결코 단순하지 않다.
생사를 건 강도 높은 노동이다.
그 끝에 끝내주게 맛있는 맥주가 있다면, 난 또 갈까?
쩌어기 눈 밭 어딘가 입 쩍 벌리고 숨어 있는 크레바스.
생각만 해도 등골이 서늘하다.
서늘한 그때의 기억을 불러와, 다시금 맥주 한 모금 꿀꺽!

I took out a can of cold beer that had been in the fridge for several days this evening.
Gulp, gulp, Ahh!
The fatigue that had settled on both my shoulders from being busy running around working all day was blown away.
Beer must be cold to taste good.
If you bury it in a snow field, climb a snowy mountain for about five days, come down, dig through the snow, find it, and drink it, it tastes really sweet.
Climbing a snowy mountain, that high-difficulty sport by no means simple.

If there was a really delicious beer at the end, would I go again?

今晩冷蔵庫から数日前に入れておいた冷たい ビール を一缶取り出した。
ごくごく、キャ~
一日中忙しく追いかけ回して、両肩に落ちた疲れを一発で吹き飛ばした。
ビール は冷たくてこそ本来の味だ。
雪原に埋めておいて、雪山登山を5日ほどして降りてきて、雪の中から掘り起こしてそれを探して飲めば、本当においしい。
雪山登り、その難易度の高い遊びは決して単純ではない。
生死をかけた強力な労働だ。
その最後に最高においしい ビール があったら、私はまた行こうか？
向こうの雪原のどこかに クレバス がぱっと開けて隠れている。
考えただけでも背筋がぞっとする。
スリル満点のあの頃の記憶を呼び起こし、再び ビール を一口ごくり！
