false alarm

출근 전 샤워를 마치고 나오니 집앞이 난리가 났다. 삐뽀 삐뽀.. almost half a dozen fire engines were on siren in front of W Hotel.

Mostly false alarm. But who knows. Just in case.

One of the engines was about to getting out of the spot to return to their station. Yes, it was just an another false alarm. Good for the hotel. Actually I've never seen any real fire for last 17 years living in Canada. But how many false alarms I've gone through? Countless..

Is it a waste of tax payers' money? Nope, the property owner, the hotel in this case, needs to pay for all the cost for the firefighters to come with their equipments.

p.s. 그 와중에 웃긴건 호텔에서 묵던 여인네들이 희디흰 가운만 걸치고 다급히 길거리로 내려 왔다는것. 유럽쪽에서 관광온듯한 이들은 재밌다고 깔깔거리며 오히려 지나는 사람들을 구경하고 있더라는.. I love Toronto.
