It's the last week of 2025. In Sally's magical village, spring, surprisingly, arrives after Christmas. Every house's garden is filled with pink flowers, and butterflies flutter about.

Eleanor Winterling strolled through the garden every morning. Her footsteps always followed the same path to a path lined with pink roses. To her, that path wasn't just a stroll. It was a place where her heart quietly blossomed, and there she first met Joseph Ashford.

"Pink roses mean excitement," he said one day. Those words resonated deeply within Eleanor. She couldn't tell whether he was referring to the flower or hinting at her feelings. But from that day on, she began picking roses and tucking them away in his books. And so, the new year gently approached her heart, too.
