Nobody said it was easy

Ups and downs in speaking English

by 어썸프로

It's such a shame not to be myself, how to get back my fluency in speaking skills?

# It's such a shame to find my performance is so bad that I feel like my english is utter rubbish

These days, I myself really felt that my English speaking skill is not as fluent as it was 3 months ago. My focusing point has moved on to another goal which was to read 1 book and write 1 book review every week. It means that the time I spent is changed. The thing is, I couldn’t come up with words that I want to say easily. I have no regard to that but today I took teacher Marion's class.

She asked me, “Where is Alice?”

So I answered her, “There is no Alice here, I'm Amy.” This question means that I was not fluent as much as I did before. She also said to me, "you're rusty." Three months ago, I took 10 classes every weekend which means that I practiced a lot.

Actually speaking is like working out. If you didn't excercise, then you just gain fats and have less muscles. If you didn't speak as much as an usual conversation, then you couldn't speak fluently as you want.

My dream is to become a global business woman. I had to practice my English more than I could before. Nobody said it was easy, no pain, no gain. I have to get back on track with my english speaking.

Teacher's Comments after class:

She said my logic to speak out was great but not today; she suggested the method to speak logically.
