‘2021 서울 모빌리티쇼’ 장안평에서 동시 개최
서울 자동차산업의 중심 장안평에서 킨텍스와 동시 개최

장안평자동차산업종합정보센터(이하 JAC)는 오는 11월 26일(금)부터 12월 5일(일)까지 킨텍스에서 열리는 ‘2021 서울 모빌리티쇼’를 장안평에서 동시 개최한다고 밝혔다.
2021 서울 모빌리티쇼는 국내 유일 국제 공인 자동차 전시회이며, 자동차의 친환경화와 전동화 트렌드, 모빌리티 분야의 확장 등을 고려하여 최근 기존의 ‘서울 모터쇼’ 명칭을 ‘서울 모빌리티쇼’로 변경했다. '지속 가능한 에너지(Sustainable)', '연결성(Connected)', '이동성(Mobility)'이라는 3대 핵심 키워드를 주제로 미래 자동차 산업의 흐름을 조망할 수 있는 다양한 행사로 개최될 예정이다.
지난달 개최되었던 독일 뮌헨 모터쇼의 사례처럼 ‘전시장(킨텍스)’이라는 제한된 공간에 국한되지 않고 서울 도심의 자동차산업 거점을 활용하여 입체적인 운영으로 진행되고, 이로 인해 시너지 효과를 기대할 수 있다는 데에 큰 의미를 찾을 수 있다.
서울 모빌리티쇼의 동시 개최로 인한 시너지 효과도 기대된다. 지하철 5호선 장한평역에 위치한 JAC에서 ▲모빌리티 스타트업 포럼 ▲모빌리티 서비스 체험 등의 부대행사를 계획하여 관람객의 접근성을 높였으며, 킨텍스와 JAC 간 호출택시 체험 등을 통해 관람객들의 이동 편의도 고려했다.
또한 JAC에서는 본 행사를 위해 ▲장안평이 미래 서울의 자동차 산업 거점 지역으로 도약하기 위한 ‘모빌리티 장안’ 웨비나 포럼 ▲장안평의 자동차 장인들을 소개하는 ‘월간 장안평’ 종합 전시회 ▲일반 시민들을 위한 자동차 무료 점검 서비스 등 다양한 이벤트와 전시, 포럼 등을 준비하여 지역 자동차 산업을 홍보하기 위한 장을 마련하겠다는 포부를 다졌다.
JAC 이형주 센터장은 “내연기관 중심에서 미래 모빌리티 산업으로 변화하는 자동차 산업 트렌드에 맞추어 본 행사를 서울 모빌리티쇼와 공동 개최하기로 했다.”라며 “지역 사회와 협력하여 ‘모빌리티 장안’을 널리 알리고, 장안평 일대 모빌리티 산업 활성화에 이바지할 것”이라고 말했다.

Janganpyeong Automobile Industry Information Center (hereinafter referred to as JAC) in Seoul announced that it will hold the Seoul Mobility Show 2021 in KINTEX simultaneously from November 26th (Friday) to December 5th (Sunday).
Seoul Mobility Show is the only internationally recognized automobile tradeshow in Korea, and the name of the existing "Seoul Motor Show" has recently been changed to "Seoul Mobility Show" in consideration of eco-friendly automobiles, electricity trends, and expansion in the mobility field. It will be held as a variety of events to see the flow of the future automobile industry under the theme of three key keywords: "Sustainable," "Connected," and "Mobility.
As in the case of the Munich Motor Show in Germany held last month, it is not limited to a exhibition space of KINTEX, but it can be found to be of great significance in that it can be operated in the automobile industry base in downtown Seoul.
Synergy effects from the simultaneous hosting of the Seoul Mobility Show are also expected. Additional events such as the ▲Mobility Startup Forum ▲Mobility Service Experience were planned at JAC located at Janghanpyeong Station on Subway Line 5 to increase visitors' accessibility, and visitors' convenience of movement was also considered through the mobility shuttle experience between KINTEX and JAC.
JAC also aspired to prepare various events, exhibitions, and forums to promote the local automobile industry by preparing ▲'Mobility Jangan' Webina Forum to become a hub for the automobile industry in Seoul in the future ▲Monthly Janganpyeong Comprehensive Exhibition introducing automobile craftsmen.
David H.J Lee, the head of JAC, said, "I decided to co-host this event with the Seoul Mobility Show in line with the changing automobile industry trend from internal combustion engines to the future mobility industry. We will work with the local community to promote the mobility industry in Janganpyeong."
