In our social life, we often hold alumni meetings, club meetings, and various club meetings. Here, dues are the cornerstone of the meeting's food or meeting fund. It's no longer debatable that membership fees must be paid to attend club and community gatherings.
In my case, I have to pay a membership fee for a meeting at a university majoring in financial economics or a graduate school of law, as food and other expenses are covered on the day. There is no meeting funding. In other words, there is no contribution from members with a lot of money.
However, the high school gathering of members living in Seoul is not like that. The alumni association, which has been together for a long time, is well-funded. There are frequent contributions from wealthy members. There is also an alumni officetel office. Senior members who are older at the time of the meeting, or members who are experiencing temporary financial difficulties, do not have to pay dues.
In conclusion, I think it is urgent to raise enough funds for the gathering to be active!
