Contemporary society has lost touch with soul and the path to psychological and spiritual maturity, or true adulthood.

Instead, we are encouraged to create lives of predictable security, false normality, material comfort, bland entertainment, and the illusion of eternal youth.

시니컬해지고 싶지는 않지만, 한국에서 요가 강사라 하면 뭔가 예쁜 몸매와 젊고 유연한 몸을 가진 ‘젊음’을 파는 이미지를 강요당하는 것 같다. eternal youth 말이다.

물론 좋고 싱그러운 에너지를 전달할 수 있으면 좋은 것이지만, 인위적인 것은 싫다. 40대이면서 20대인 척하고 싶지는 않다.

영원한 젊음이란 그야말로 환상이며, 우리는 우리 나이에 걸맞은 모습과 형상 그대로 자연스럽게 머물 필요가 있다. 적어도 내가 전달하고 싶은 가치는 그러하다
