The European Commission is again suing AstraZeneca for allegedly failing to deliver enough covid-19 vaccines. The jab-maker said that a previous suit, filed in April, was meritless since it had made “best reasonable efforts” to meet its contractual obligations. The latest case, it argues, is superfluous. The commission wants AstraZeneca to deliver 120m doses as compensation by the end of June.
