Roadtrip and Life

50일: 2016년 2월 28일, 멜버른

함께 자동차를 타고 어딘가로 향한다는 것은,

같은 풍경을 바라보며

울퉁불퉁한 도로에서 오는 진동을 공유하고

바깥에서 불어오는 상쾌한 바람을 느끼며

대화를 나누는 것.

단어와 문장들은 핑퐁처럼 오고 가고

스피커를 울리는 음악을 귀로,

동시에 차에서 느껴지는 미세한 떨림으로 즐기는 것.

차 안의 공기와 온도를 함께 느끼며,

한 곳에서 다른 곳으로 이동하면서 한 공간을 공유하는 것.

향하는 목적지만큼 여정도 추억에 남는 것이 바로 로드트립의 묘미이다.

이처럼 결과만큼 과정이 의미 있는 삶을 살고 싶다.

Day 50: 28 February 2016, Melbourne

Traveling in a car together is looking at the same landscape,

feeling the wobbles from the bumpy road

and the refreshing wind from outside, while having a conversation.

Words and sentences come and go like a ping-pong ball

while listening to the beats of music, and feeling a subtle vibration from the speaker.

The air and temperature within the car, and the space are shared

while going from one place to another.

The perks of a road trip is that a journey leaves as much of fond memories as a destination does.

I wish my life to be like a road trip, the process and the result being equally meaningful.
