On Friday morning

At the chiropractor’s office on Friday morning for my rusty right wrist and left ankle. A cute art piece on his table is a small delight. It’s made with nails, screws, and ion balls, which couldn’t be more condensed analogy and expression of human skeleton. The chiropractor said that his friend brought it for him from a cruise. what a good friend.

The first time croki trial - the speed sketch of a live model- went on for 3 hrs yesterday in the art studio. Scrutinizing the flowing down body lines had some sort of mind soothing effect like meditation. The speed sketch needs focused and sustained attention with highly calculated visual motor coordination, which absolutely put me in the state of flow. Croki itself is the dynamic process as is the visible improvement of skill in a given amount of time. I got carried away and continued to sketchy three more hrs. after coming back home. I used a drawing app. This intense process caused sharp pain on the wrist next morning. So visiting the chiropractor was inevitable.
