Amazing Bellygom

For commemorating its 5th anniversary of opening Lotte World Tower and attracting 500.000 people in the first weekend alone! Lotte Home Shopping decided to put up a 15-meter tall Bellygom. Located at Jamsil between the Lotte World Tower and Lotte Mart on the plaza you will find the Amazing Bellygom.

Additionally, there are 6(six) 2-meter tall Bellygoms each with a different theme that you can take a picture with. To make sure it does not get overcrowded in the picture area, the staff has set up retractable barriers. But note that to take a picture there will be a huge queue that may take up to 1 hour before you get the chance of taking a picture with Bellygom.

A merchandise booth was also set up, with lines (when we visited) taking up to two hours before getting your hands on Bellygom goods. The goods ranged from miniature dolls to 50-70cm sitting plushies, cushions, regular plushies, notebooks, tee shirts, phone cases, and stickers. The price ranged from, 5.000₩ to 60.000₩.

Because of strong winds, Bellygom had to 'lie down' for safety reasons till the winds were settled down.

On the opposite of Bellygom, you will find the High Five festival. The High Five Festival was to celebrate the Cherry Blossom season and had live performances from various artists. The festival ended on April 10th.

However, the amazing Bellygom will be displayed until April 17th and it is definitely worth to visit this unique character that can only be seen in Korea. Bellygom can be seen at Jamsil-station Next to Lotte World Tower and Lotte World MALL.
