Get an insight on the beliefs of music

Just a small 10-minute walk from Yongsan Station, HYBE insight is an exhibition created by HYBE entertainment, the same company that has BTS, Enhyphen, SEVENTEEN, and many others under their wing. The exhibition has the purpose to show how music is created within HYBE entertainment and what their beliefs and values are for music by letting visitors experience hearing, touching, and even smelling.

Yoyo as a prize, prizes may varyTo get access to HYBE insight you need to make a reservation before visiting. You will need to make an account on Weverse first and then you will be able to choose the desired time slot. It is also important to have the HYBE Insight application installed on your mobile device for the entrance and also the AR game which will be explained further in the blog. The price for one entry is 22,000KRW. However, if you wish to have a photo ticket (photocard of an artist as a ticket) it will cost 25,000KRW. Once you have made your reservation, your QR code will be issued closer to your reserved time slot. Make sure to arrive no later than 10 minutes at HYBE as you may get denied entry. The entrance of HYBE Insight is all the way on the right, so not the revolving doors, but you have to take the stairs towards floor B2 and once you enter.
You will get a bag that you will have to wear at all times so that the staff can see on what team you belong as the next group might already have gone in.
No pictures/videos are allowed on the B2 floor but the moment you enter, you will be immersed in the room as light and sound will move towards the front. After that, you will come into a room where you can see the breakdown of how songs are being produced by the producers of HYBE. Additionally, you will get to see the setup of some producers' offices including SUGA, J-HOPE, and PDOGG. There is one more room but we will not be spoiling too much! After that, you will go up to the B1 floor where you can take pictures. Depending on when you go there might be a special exhibition in place that is collaborating with either BTS or HYBE entertainment. Currently, there are no exhibitions in place and nothing is upcoming. The latest exhibition that was installed was, [BTS X Futura] HUMBLE SOULS, where you could explore the artworks of Futura who pioneered the abstract graffiti genre in collaboration with BTS.
The following room is where the AR game will start. You have 25 minutes to collect 9 coins after you have collected all 9 coins you can claim your prize at the museum shop where there is a vending machine.
Do note, however, that because of the restricted time you have to look around, if you only focus on the AR game you will not have enough time to look around and take pictures. In order to complete the game you need to heavily focus on the clues that are given and you need to aim at things for a couple of seconds then you will hear a chime, step back a few meters and you will see your coin for you to collect. The penultimate room is a room full of acoustic panels to absorb sound and how a recording studio would look and sound like. The very last room is where you will watch a short movie about the many artists who are under HYBE and talk about their experience of what it is like being an idol. After you reach the end of the HYBE insight exhibition and enter the museum shop. The vending machine is located on the left where you have to scan your QR code and get a random prize. The prize that currently is known is a Yo-yo, a pair of socks and bracelets. Your prize may vary.
