일곱 양치기 소년의 별자리에서부터
나는 나의 늑대들을 아래로 몰고 가네
너의 도시의 중심 광장으로
그들과 함께 우리는 너를 응시하네
그리고 쉽사리 너를
여러 층의 은신처 굴로 몰아가네
너 없이 발광(發狂)한
너의 길든 쇠 괴물의
눈먼 대살육전에서 나는 반역하네
나는 내 늑대들의 등에 올라타
내 이빨로 당기네 교차된 칼들을
너의 가장 높은 탑에서부터 아래로
그리고 내 긴 꼬리 달린 아들들과 함께
달을 향해 아우성치며 내 심장의 내용물을 요구하네

From the brotherly constellation of Seven Sheepboys*
I drive my wolves down
Into the main square of your city
Together with them we glare at you
And easily drive you
Into your multistoreyed kennels
I revel in the blind internecine battle
Of your domestic iron monsters
Crazed without you
I climb on my wolves' backs
And with my teeth pull the crossed knives
Down from your highest towers
And bay the moon to my heart's content
With my long-tailed sons

*'Seven Sheepboys' (Sedam Vlasica): the Pleiades(묘성, 昴星); according to some, the seven Vlasici brothers are the souls of dead children. Their name stems from that of the Slav god Volos - the god of sheep, and of souls. (시집 주, 419쪽)
