91. 인생의 의미는 무엇일까요? 어디서 찾아야 할까요?

(What is the meaning of life? Where should I look for it?)

파랑새 한 마리 찾으러

온 산을 뒤지고 다녔던 오누이가

지쳐 집에 도착하니

거기에 새가 있었다

말도 안 되는 거짓말

그 거짓말을 믿는 사람들의 참 마음

그 사이쯤?

The brother and sister who searched the whole mountain

looking for a bluebird

arrived home exhausted

and the bird was there

An absurd lie

The true heart of the people who believe that lie

Somewhere in between?

92. 인간은 자유로운 존재인가요, 아니면 정해진 운명대로 사는 존재인가요?

(Are human beings free, or do we live according to a set fate?)

줄타는 사람의 자유는 줄 위에 있고

하늘 나는 새의 자유는 하늘에 있고

갇혀 사는 죄수의 자유는 감방에 있지.

그대는 어디에 있는가?

The freedom of a tightrope walker is on the rope

The freedom of a flying bird is in the sky

The freedom of an imprisoned convict is in the jail cell.

Where are you?

93. 인간의 본성은 선한가요, 악한가요?

(Is human nature good or evil?)

너와 내가 있을 뿐

인간은 없다

너는 선한가?

나는 악한가?

There is only you and I

"Humanity" does not exist

Are you good?

Am I evil?

94. 인생의 목적은 무엇이라고 생각하시나요?

(What do you think is the purpose of life?)

좋은 친구와

맛난 음식을 먹고 마시며

즐거운 이야기를 나누는 것

그게 필멸자의 복락이지.

With a good friend

eating and drinking delicious food

sharing pleasant stories

That is the joy of a humble man.

95. 진정한 '나'는 무엇일까요? '참나'를 찾고 싶어요.

(What is the 'true me'? I want to find my 'true self.')

참도 없고

나도 없고

너도 없다면

질문이 무슨 소용!

If there is no 'true'

and there is no 'me'

and there is no 'you'

what's the use of the question!
