선거와 전쟁

과연 누구를 위한 것일까?

역사를 살펴보면 전쟁을 일으킨 자와 전쟁에 참여해서 죽어간 사람들, 전쟁에서 이긴 자와 그 이익을 누린 자들이 극명하게 구분된다.

우리는 왕건이 등장하는 후삼국시대의 전쟁, 고려-거란 전쟁, 대조영과 발해 건국사, 이순신이 등장하는 임진왜란 등 이와같은  역사 드라마에 등장하는 수많은 전쟁장면에서 말도 타지 못하고 행군하다가 죽어가는 수없이 많은 병사들을 본다.
화면에서는 엑스트라로 처리되지만 이와같이 이름도 없이 사라지는 국민들이 얼마나 많은가?

이스라엘과 하마스의 전쟁과  한반도에서 일어난 한국 전쟁도 마찬가지이다.

정치가들은 선거철만 되면 나타나서 각종 미사여구를 던진다.
그리고 당선되면 무엇을 약속했는지 조차 새까맣게 잊어버리고 당의 결정에 따라 국민의 대의권을 망각하고 거수기로 전락한다.

혹시 정치가들은 국민들을 전쟁장면의 엑스트라로 생각하는 것은 아닐까?
선거(전쟁)에서 이익(전리품)은 자신들만 챙기고, 그 이후는 나  몰라라  무관심한 존재들이 정치가들이 아닌가?

각종 자신의 이익을 위해 범죄를 저지른 전과자들이 국민을 위해서 일하겠다고 나서는  현실을 보면서 이런 상념에 빠진다.

Looking at history, there is a clear distinction between those who started the war, those who died by participating in the war, those who won the war and those who enjoyed the benefits.

We see countless soldiers who are dying while marching without riding horses in numerous war scenes in such historical dramas, such as the War of the Three Kingdoms, the Goryeo-Goran War, the Daejo-Young and Balhae Founding History, and the Imjin War, which features Yi Sun-shin.
How many people are treated as extras on screen but disappear without names like this?

The same goes for the war between Israel and Hamas and the Korean War on the Korean Peninsula.

Politicians show up during election season and make various rhetoric.
And when elected, they completely forget what they promised, forgetting the people's right to represent and falling into a show of hands depending on the party's decision.

Maybe politicians think of the people as extras from the war scene?
Aren't politicians the ones who care only for themselves in the election (war), and are indifferent after that?
Seeing the reality that ex-convicts who have committed crimes for their own interests are willing to work for the people, I fall into this state of mind.
