일본 자위대 ‘대만침공 격퇴’ 상륙훈련 한미일체제 한반도에 ‘해군증대 일본주도’     

일본 자위대가 해병대를 주축으로 남서쪽 섬에 상륙훈련으로 ‘중국 대만 침공시 격퇴 모의 공격’을 19일 공개했고 한국은 남북군사합의서 파기 수순에서 대통령이 영국으로 가고 북한의 정찰위성 발사 대응 NSC를 20일 열었다.

샌프란시스코에서 15일 열린 미중 정상회담까지 일시 중단됐던 중국의 대만해협 군사활동이 재개되면서 중국과 일본간 군비경쟁으로 전환되고 있다.

미국의소리(VOA)는 한국의 9.19남북군사합의 ‘파기’ 수순에 대해 “한미일 상호운용성이 해군으로 확대돼 한반도 유사시 공동 대응에 일본 역할이 커질 것”으로 18일 밝혔다.

대만 국방부는 19일 중국 공군의 Su-30 J-10 전투기 조기경보기 전자전 항공기 등 9대 항공기가 이날 아침부터 대만해협의 중간선을 넘고 중국 군함이 "전투 준비 순찰"을 수행하는 등 대만 주변에서 중국의 군사 활동이 재개됐다고 밝혔다.

북한 ‘조선중앙통신’은 “새 형의 중거리 탄도미사일용 대출력 고체연료 발동기들을 개발하고 1계단 발동기의 첫 지상 분출 시험을 11월 11일에, 2계단 발동기의 첫 지상 분출 시험을 11월 14일에 성과적으로 진행했다”고 15일 보도했다.

기자들의 참관 아래 실시된 일본 해병대의 모의 공격은 상륙 강습 차량을 타고 남서쪽 도쿠노시마 섬에서 11일간의 전국적 자위대의 최종 훈련이다.

기시다 일본 총리는 이웃 국가에 대한 러시아의 공격으로 대담해진 중국이 대만을 공격할 경우 동아시아가 다음 우크라이나가 될 수 있다고 경고했다고 로이터가 19일 밝혔다.

상륙 훈련은 해상에 정박한 해상자위대 상륙함 2척에서 출격한 육상 자위대 상륙 돌격 차량과 함께 다른 부대는 반팽창식 고무 보트를 타고 상륙하고, 중장비는 군용 호버크래프트에 실려 해안으로 상륙했다.

일본 남서부 가고시마현 도쿠노시마 섬에서 일본 육상 자위대 수륙양용 신속배치여단(ARDB)이 주축인 병사들은 전국 05JX 군사훈련의 일환으로 해상 상륙 훈련에 참가했다고 로이터가 밝혔다. 

자위대 합동참모본부 참모장 요시다 요시히데 장군은 도쿠노시마 훈련을 참관한 후 기자들에게 "JX의 목표는 공격으로 인한 긴급 상황이 발생했을 때 공동으로 대응할 수 있다는 것을 보여주는 것"이라 말했다.

섬 상륙 훈련 지점에 대해 “타이완을 향해 뻗어 있는 일본 남서부 섬을 따라 있는 많은 해변들과는 달리, 도쿠노시마에 있는 해변에는 군사 작전을 더 어렵게 만들 수 있는 산호초가 없다”고 로이터가 밝혔다.

로이터는 일본의 군사훈련 강화에 대해 “지난해 12월 기시다 후미오 총리가 5년간 국방비를 두 배로 늘리겠다는 공약과 함께 제2차 세계대전 이후 최대 규모의 군사력 증강을 발표한 이후 일본에서의 군사훈련의 범위와 속도는 미군을 포함해 향후 몇 년 동안 증가할 것으로 보인다”고 밝혔다.

국가안보실은 20일 국가안전보장회의(NSC) 상임위원회를 열어 북한의 ‘정찰위성’ 발사 준비 동향 등 도발 가능성과 대응 방안을 점검했다고 밝혔다.

신원식 국방장관은 19일 KBS TV 출연으로 "출처를 밝힐 수는 없지만 저희 국방정보당국의 분석에 의하면 (북한 위성발사 예상) 11월 말쯤이라고 했다. 이는 지금도 계속 유효하다"며 이르면 이번 주 내 '군사정찰위성'의 3차 발사를 시도할 것이라고 밝혔다.

기시다 총리는 16일 샌프란시스코의 APEC 정상회의에서 시진핑 중국 주석과 65분간 회담한 뒤 기자들에게 "건설적 방식으로 회담과 대화 통해 분쟁 해결할 방안을 찾기로 합의했다"고 밝혔다.

일본 관계자는 기시다 총리와 시 주석이 안정적 건설적 관계 구축에 합의에 대해 “일본 수산물의 중국 금지에 대한 분쟁 완화에 모호한 합의 달성했다”고 16일 로이터에 말했다.
