The Monday Practice of Serenity (02/03/2025)
How are you feeling today?
I was a bit shaken earlier, but I am maintaining a serene mental state.
What do you want to do today?
Read, exercise, and practice becoming the person I admire in the future.
Good:
I’ve realized that setting the default expectation that nothing should disturb my peace throughout the day tends to be the very thought that disrupts my calm. Life, in its essence, is about experiencing joy, anger, sadness, and pleasure, so I’ve come to understand the importance of training myself to observe the events and people in each moment with neutrality. And through experience, I’ve learned that every situation has a reason to be thankful for. This event, too, will surely teach me something valuable, as time, my greatest teacher, will guide me. So, let's refocus and continue maintaining peace. You're doing great now.
Bad:
I’ve realized that one of my biggest challenges is when I make predictions or expectations about situations or relationships, and when things don't go as anticipated, I feel discomfort or disappointment. As I learned in a book, predictions and expectations are meaningless, and the problem lies in repeatedly believing these predictions as facts. So, once again, I’ve learned the importance of minimizing unnecessary thoughts and focusing on productive actions.
Learning:
It means always exploring new ideas. This exploration can include reading, listening, observing, conversing, sharing, and hands-on trials (perhaps even starting a business). The key is to keep an open mind about the lessons each activity can teach.

Practice:
Act as though you've already achieved it—today is the time to practice your future self.
Let things flow naturally like water.
The true art of love is to not use artifice.
The true art of conversation is to not use technique.
What I see now and the thoughts I have now determine who I am.
If something is not enjoyable, it's a signal that something is going wrong.
Where I am now is where my future is.
Don’t let your luck get scattered on unnecessary things; focus on one thing.
Routine is the sacred act of finding optimal simplicity through past trial and error.
Greeting should be done with your whole body.
Your mindset is reflected in your body posture.
Silence, moderation, immersion.
