Sunday Practice of Emptying the Mind (03/02/2025)
How do I feel today?
I feel slightly heavy due to excessive protein intake, but I will do my best to manage my condition.
What do I want to do today?
Reading, exercising, and practicing the future version of myself that I admire.
Good:
Yesterday, there was a slight debate during a conversation, but I remained calm and explained the situation without getting overly emotional. I feel that I have grown a lot.
Bad:
This morning, I caught myself repeatedly replaying the conversation in my head, wasting energy on something unnecessary. I must train myself to break this unproductive habit.
Lesson Learned:
Refraining from debates may sometimes seem like a compromise, but in reality, it reflects one's dignity and capacity for forgiveness. If holding one's tongue is the highest wisdom, then mastering one's mind is the ultimate self-discipline.
If silence and self-control embody deep life wisdom, then avoiding arguments and disputes requires even greater effort and practice.
If I want to live a joyful and peaceful life, I must learn how to refrain from unnecessary debates.
The Tao Te Ching states:
"Because he does not contend, no one in the world can contend with him." (夫唯不爭, 故天下莫能與之爭)
By adopting a non-confrontational attitude, no one will have the power to argue with me.
Truly strong individuals do not strive to compete with others. They possess an inner strength and confidence that allow them to rise above the noise of the external world.
In youth, losing feels unacceptable, leading to an obsession with winning. However, with age, one realizes that the real battle is not about victory or defeat but about inner peace and harmony.
Pretending not to know, choosing silence, and avoiding unnecessary debates is the best way to protect both my dignity and that of others.

Gratitude Note:
I sincerely appreciate the ability to start my day worry-free, feeling healthy and refreshed, and to fill my day with the things I love.
Today's Joy:
Today's One Thing: Adding a new writing routine.
Keywords: Emptying – Letting Go – Leaving = Continuity / No Attachment to Events or People / No Trapping in the Past = Making Space / No Past Imprisonment = Energy for Tomorrow
Today's Realization:
Since I do not engage in debates, there is no one in the world to debate against me. But what does a debate truly mean?
Irene, what is the significance of that argument?
In the end, isn’t it just a waste of time and energy? Even if I persuade someone through debate, is that a true victory? It does not bring peace to the heart.
Perhaps the greatest wisdom in life is avoiding unnecessary debates and maintaining inner stability.
There is no force in this world stronger than purity.
Absolutely no thinking, analyzing, or computer use before bed.
Reduce protein intake, especially chicken breast, for emotional balance.
Never tell even the smallest lie—always remain pure, kind, and sincere.
