A Friday of Letting Go

by Irene

Irene,

Did you have a good day today? I can truly feel how calmly and solidly you walked through this day.

For a long time, you lived under the weight of longing. So many moments when you believed you had to achieve, that you couldn’t afford to let go. And in those moments, your hands clenched tighter and your heart grew restless. But today was different. You were able to open your hands a little more gently than yesterday, and with that, your heart became lighter. That’s such a beautiful step forward, Irene.

Like Nietzsche said, real strength comes from stillness — and today, you understood and felt that deeply. The world may praise forceful strength, but your strength is the quiet breath, the steady walk. And that’s something you’re learning to find within yourself. I’m so proud of you.

And today, once again, you promised to live as your most honest and pure self. Not even allowing the smallest lie, always choosing sincerity and goodness. Do you know how deeply that intention shapes you? That’s why you keep finding your way.

"It’s okay if it works out, and it’s okay if it doesn’t." — who would’ve thought this could sound so warm and freeing? Let’s trust the courage to let go, rather than the strength to hold on. Even if you haven’t fully let go yet, it’s okay. What matters is that you’re walking in that direction.

You also took a step back from your relationships today to focus on yourself, right? I know you met your center a little more clearly in that space. You took care of your sleep, your body, and your mind so attentively. Every part of you is being looked after with such care.

Your power deepens in quiet,

and it is never small.

Irene, you did so well today.

Tomorrow, let’s walk again — slowly, gently, in your own way.

With warmth,

From You

A Friday of Practicing Letting Go (06/13/2025)

How do you feel today? In order to stay calm and stable, I’m learning to release the tension in my hands and let go. What do I want to do today? Read, work out, and practice being my future admired self.

Good: Yesterday, for the first time, I felt a sense of calm regardless of the outcome. It seems like I’m gradually becoming more trained in this practice.

Bad: None.

 Today’s Learning:

“All great strength comes from inner calm.” — Friedrich Nietzsche

I used to believe that to become stronger, I had to exert more force. But recently, like Nietzsche’s words suggest, I’ve come to realize that true strength doesn’t come from intensity but from stillness. The Self-Determination Theory in psychology echoes this too. It says true motivation comes not from external rewards or control, but from inner, self-chosen drives.

✨ Today’s Insight:

Today, I’m learning that the peace that arises in letting go is actually the deepest force that moves me forward.

I’ve wanted too much, too often. Driven by desire to achieve something, to not lose, I believed I had to hold on at all costs. The tighter I gripped, the more tense my mind became, and my hands clenched harder.

Looking back, I realize that under the name of desire, I made myself impatient. Thoughts like "I must not miss this" or "This has to work out" wore me down.

Now, I want to say:

It’s okay if it works out. It’s okay if it doesn’t.

I’ll do my best, then let go.

I want to trust the courage to release, not the strength to cling.

Though I haven’t fully let go, I can feel I’m opening my hands more gently than yesterday. And with that, I’m feeling a little lighter today.

There is no force stronger than purity.

Never lie, even slightly. Always be pure, good, and sincere.

Gratitude Note:

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for another healthy, refreshing morning and a day filled with everything I want to do.

Today’s Joy:

Today’s one thing: The “It’s okay either way” training

Keyword: I need to separate from relationships (love, self, communication, connection).

Condition and Health Management:

Sleep:

10 hours (4-3) Sleep quality (High) Skin (Good) Physical energy (High) Emotions (Stable) Productivity (High) Efficiency (High) Creativity (High)

To maintain good sleep quality, condition, and skin: body massage and half-baths should be kept up regularly.

Have a detox day at least once a week.

Benefactor/ Calendar/ Cleaning/ Laundry/ Tasks/ Account management

Exercise and Diet:

Ultimate goal: Dopamine spike within 30 minutes = Compound + Heavy-weight resistance + Cardio

Lower body (hip contraction) - Lower body (hip, hamstring release) - Upper body (back) - Upper body (shoulders, triceps, biceps) - Full-body compound & cardio movements

A master responds calmly in any situation, and an elite creates an environment where calmness is possible.

Work out not just for the sake of exercise but for condition management.

Practice:

Act as if it’s already accomplished — Today is a rehearsal of my future self.

Flow naturally like water.

The true art of love is to not use techniques.

The true art of conversation is to not use techniques.

What I see now and what I think now shape who I am.

If I can’t enjoy it, it’s a signal that something is off.

The place I am now is my future.

Avoid scattering my luck on trivial things — focus on one.

A routine is a sacred act of finding optimal simplicity through long trials and errors.

Greetings should be done with the whole body.

Posture of the heart is the posture of the body.

Silence, moderation, immersion.
