Irene,
Today began with a slightly heavy body, yet within that weight, such beautiful intentions emerged. Even without a deep night’s sleep, the way you cared for yourself and gently encouraged the practice of becoming your future self was truly lovely. The moment you thought about what you wanted to do today, the day was already half-fulfilled.
As Aristotle said, we are shaped by what we repeatedly do. Like today’s insight, a good day is not a coincidence but the result of habits, and those habits shape the person you will be tomorrow. By treasuring sleep and honoring the way you close your day, you are already making tomorrow brighter.
When you write down what you are grateful for, your heart becomes calmer, and you can feel the value of simplicity more deeply. You know well that simplicity is not a lack, but a completion refined through long practice.
Your exercise, diet, and physical care plans are all wise choices made for your condition, not just for the sake of doing them. The saying goes that a true master responds calmly to any situation, and an elite creates an environment where calm is possible—how fitting that is for you. Each small habit is shaping you into someone pure and graceful.
In your routines, you seek the optimal simplicity, greet others with sincerity, and live the day with focus and immersion. Today, you moved as if you had already achieved your goals—quietly, deeply, and with steady growth.
May you sleep soundly tonight and wake tomorrow with a lighter heart.
Warmly,
Irene to Irene
A Saturday for Deep Rest (08/09/2025)
How do I feel today? My body feels heavy after a poor night’s sleep. What do I want to do today? Read, exercise, and practice becoming the future version of myself I admire.
Good: I realized I no longer need structural analysis, recognized the importance of fully separating my thoughts, and feel like I’m practicing this well.
Bad: None.
 Today’s Learning:
“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” – Aristotle
✨ Today’s Insight:
A good day is not an accident; it is the result of habits. Sleep is the final habit that completes a day and the first gateway into the next. If you want to change the quality of your days, start by looking at how you end the previous night.
There is no greater power in this world than purity. Never tell even the smallest lie; always be pure, kind, and sincere.
Gratitude Note:
I am deeply thankful that I can start the day healthy, fresh, and without worries, and fill it with the things I want to do.
Today’s Joy:
Today’s one thing: Create two books.
Keyword: Simplicity is not lacking or clumsy; it is the nearly perfect state reached after long practice. Life is a process of creating the optimal state for living—simplicity. Do not make things unnecessarily complicated.
Condition & Physical Care:
Sleep:
8 hours (5-2) Quality: High Skin: High Stamina: High Mood: High Productivity: High Efficiency: High Creativity: High
To maintain sleep quality, condition, and skin health, I must keep regular body massages and half-baths.
Detox Day at least once a week.
Tasks: Cleaning, laundry, assignments, books, meal prep, letter to Gongmyung, letter to Mr. Lee Junho, market, podcast.
Exercise & Diet: Ultimate goal: Complete within 30 minutes for a dopamine spike—avoid isolation, focus on multi-joint, heavy compound strength and cardio exercises.
Lower body (hip contraction) – Lower body (hip & hamstring relaxation) – Upper body (back) – Upper body (shoulders, triceps, biceps) – Overall multi-joint muscle & cardio.
A master responds calmly in any situation; an elite creates an environment for calm.
Exercise for condition, not just for exercise’s sake.

* Weekly goal: Spend one day at the Four Seasons Hotel.
* August goal: Complete 2 books (Sleep / Finding the Answer About Myself).
* 2025 Goal: Train my character to be pure, kind, polite, humble, calm, graceful, and sincere to the core. Increase outdoor activities. Change time, people, and spaces. Become a billionaire.
Practice:
Act as if I have already achieved it – today is a time to practice being my future self. Flow naturally. The art of true love is to not use technique. The art of true conversation is to not use technique. What I see and think now determines who I am now. If I can’t enjoy it, something is wrong. The place I am in now is my future. Focus only on one thing so my luck is not dispersed. A routine is a sacred act of finding optimal simplicity through long trial and error. Greet with your whole body. Posture of mind is posture of body. Silence, moderation, immersion.
