내가 좋아하는 노래들
REO Speedwagon 이라는 밴드가 있습니다. 지금은 새 멤버로 교체되었고 현재 멤버들은 제게 있어 전혀 관심도 없지만, 원년멤버 (1967년) 들의 노래들은 주옥같은 작품들이 많습니다. 70, 80, 90년대까지 이어진 인기와, 2010년대 초반까지만해도 이 노장들이 콘서트도 참 자주 했었지요. "남자는 다 좋아하는 밴드"라고 알려진 이들, 심지어는 최근 인기있는 드라마들 중 하나인 "Cobra Kai" 에서도 이들이 언급됩니다.

이 노래는 아니지만 "Can't Fight This Feeling" 이란 노래가 있습니다. 아래는 1984년 당시 처음 나왔을 때 뮤직 비디오이고, 그 아래는 2010년 콘서트 장면입니다. 그 멤버 그대로이지요. 세월이 이들의 외모를 변하게 했지만 음악은 그대로입니다. 오히려 2010년 version 이 마음에 더 와닿는군요.
