One Fine Day (1996) 의 soundtrack 으로 유명한 "For the First Time" 이란 노래의 첫 부분입니다. 이 영화를 보신 분들 중 Bethesda Terrace (Mid-Park at 72nd Street) 장면을 기억하실지요?
이 노래는 James Newton Howard (영화음악계의 전설과도 같은 분입니다), 이 다른 두 명의 작사작곡가들과 함께 만든 영화 soundtrack 중 하나로, 당시 아카데미에서 The Best Original Song 에 노미네이션까지 된 아름다운 노래입니다. Kenny Loggins 가 그의 트레이드마크인 수염을 '처리'하고 처음 등장한 영상이라고도 하는군요.
이 노래는 George Clooney 와 Michelle Pfeiffer 를 생각하지 않고는 들을 수 없지요? 영화의 흐름은 참 별로였지만 Cinematography 는 참 아름답습니다. Pfeiffer 의 가장 멋졌던 그 'pfine' day 를 떠올리며, 그리고 Clooney 가 좀 덜 떨어진 (설익은?) 외모를 가지고 있었을 때를 떠올리며 들어보시기 바랍니다.
