포도나무

예수가 말했습니다, "나는 포도나무이고 내 아버지는 농부이시다."
그리고 예수는 말했습니다, "나는 포도나무이고 너희는 가지다."(요한복음 15:5)
예수가 멋진 약속을 했습니다, "나와 가까이 있고 너희 삶 안에 나를 두면 많은 열매를 맺게 될 것이다."
가지가 포도나무에 붙어있듯 그와 가까이 있으라고 예수가 말했습니다.
예수와 가까이하는 삶은 그를 닮게 합니다.
예수는 그의 제자들이 그처럼 온유하고 서로 사랑하며 친절하고 인내하기를 바랐습니다.
또 예수는 자신이 그들을 사랑하는 것처럼 그들도 서로 사랑하기를 바랐습니다.
예수가 말했어요, "내가 말하는 것을 지키면 너희는 나의 친구다. 나는 너희를 종이라 부르지 않겠다. 종은 주인이 하는 일을 모르기 때문이다. 나는 너희를 친구라 부른다. 내 아버지한테서 배운 모든 것을 내가 너희에게 알려주었기 때문이다."
Jesus said, "I am the vine and my Father is the gardener."
Then Jesus said to his disciples, "I am the vine; you are the branches" - John 15:5.
Jesus gave them a wonderful promise. "If you stay close to me and have me in your life, you will produce much fruit."
He told them to stay close to him like a branch is close to the vine.
Staying close to Jesus helps us be like him.
Jesus wanted his disciples to be gentle, loving, kind and patient like he was.
Jesus also wanted his disciples to love one another like he loved them.
Jesus said, "You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you."
