너무나 어두운 바닷속 세상

A world deep in the sea, too dark

별에서 태어난 별담이

별조각을 깨고 나온 별담이는 바닷속을 둘러보았어요.

After breaking free from the star fragment, Stardam looked around the sea.

하지만 별담이의 별빛이 비추는 곳을 빼고는 바닷속은 너무나 어두웠어요.

However, except for where Stardam's starlight shone, the sea was very dark.

별에서 태어난 별담이

그렇게 주변을 둘러보던 중 작은 주황색 물고기 한 마리가 별담이의 별빛을 보고 다가왔어요.

As Stardam was looking around, a small orange fish, attracted by her starlight, approached her.

"안녕 나는 별담이야. 그런데 여기는 왜 이렇게 어두운 거야?"

"Hello, I'm Stardam. But why is it so dark here?"

"어느 날부터 갑자기 바다에 모든 등대가 꺼지면서 바닷속 세상에 빛이 모두 사라졌어, 나는 너한테서 나오는 빛을 보고 이리 헤엄쳐 온 거야."

"One day, suddenly all the lighthouses in the sea went out, and all the light in the underwater world disappeared. I swam over here because I saw the light coming from you."

별에서 태어난 별담이

별담이는 주변을 둘러보며 등대를 찾아보려 했지만 너무 어두워서 볼 수가 없었어요.

Stardam tried to look around for a lighthouse, but it was too dark to see anything.

그래서 별빛이 비추는 바다 위로 올라가서 등대를 찾아보기로 했답니다.

So, she decided to go up to the sea where the starlight shines to look for the lighthouse.

별에서 태어난 별담이

바다 위로 올라온 별담이는 주변에 등대를 둘러보았어요.

Stardam, who emerged onto the sea, looked around at the lighthouses.

멀리 있는 등대는 보이지 않았고, 가장 가까이 보이는 등대부터 가서 별담이의 별빛으로 불을 켜기로 하였습니다.

 The distant lighthouses were not visible, so she decided to start with the nearest one, lighting it up with her starlight.

별담이는 등대에 불을 다 켜고 어두워진 바다에 빛을 찾아줄 수 있을까요?
