A Light-Hearted Thursday (03/27/2025)
How do you feel today?
After managing my overall diet yesterday, I feel light and refreshed both physically and mentally.
What do you want to do today?
Read, exercise, and practice becoming the person I admire in the future.
Good:
Yesterday, I reduced my protein intake and skipped my multivitamin, and I felt significantly lighter today. My condition has improved overall, so I will continue to focus on diet management for better wellness.
Bad:
None.
Today's Lesson:
"Learning is an endless journey. We are the protagonists of this journey, but we can never know its end. Our existence is always learning and growing, and what we come to know makes us realize how much we still don't know." – Marcus Aurelius, Meditations
Today's Insight:
When thinking about learning, it truly feels like an endless journey. The things I thought I knew have only made me realize how much I don’t know. "I," as a person, am a subject and journey that I must study throughout my life. It has no end, but somehow, that's what makes it fascinating.
Yesterday, I happened to watch a video of Choo Seong-hoon fighting. Normally, I don't watch martial arts because I find it scary. But when I watched it yesterday, I found it strangely interesting. I always thought martial arts was violent and brutal, but I was captivated by the fighters' movements, strategies, and fighting styles. I never imagined that these techniques could be so beautiful. Ultimately, it was their training, effort, and unique way of fighting that made it so impressive that I couldn’t stop watching.
It made me realize that I have been trying to judge the world based on what I know. I thought I understood the world as much as I knew, but I realize now that there’s still so much I don’t know. "I" still have many unknown areas, and it made me realize again that learning is an endless journey.
Purity is the strongest force in the world.
Never tell even a small lie; always be pure, kind, and sincere.
Gratitude Note:
I am truly grateful to begin another day in good health, free of worries, and filled with things I want to do.
Today's Joy:
Today's One Thing:
Training myself in speaking about reflective writing and uploading the audio file.
