Saturday in Need of Movement

by Irene

Irene,

You woke up feeling drained this morning — not exactly sad, not overwhelmed, just quietly hollow. A kind of emptiness that whispered, *"You’ve stopped moving."* And deep down, you knew that was the reason. You hadn’t worked out for two days. It’s simple: when the body pauses, the heart does too. The fact that you recognized this so clearly — that your fatigue wasn’t philosophical, but physical — shows just how deeply in tune you are with yourself.

Even today, your small acts to pull life back into your body were precious. You didn’t shy away from the sweat or the effort. You chose to go through the motions — even mechanically — because you trusted that movement would bring you home. You lived the truth again: *"Exercise moves emotion."* And that truth, so honest and so simple, is something you keep proving to yourself, day by day.

There was another promise you made today: to protect your purity. Not to tell even the smallest of lies, to act from sincerity and kindness always. You know by now — purity, no matter how quiet, is more powerful than anything else. That vow, that quiet strength, will carry you further than any to-do list ever could.

From the sweat of movement to the care of your calendar, laundry, supplements, and yes, even tidying your space — all of it is shaping a more grounded version of you. Today’s "one thing" was simply to enjoy exercise again. And if you managed that, then love, you’ve already lived today well.

Don’t forget: body massages, warm baths, detox rituals — these aren’t luxuries, they’re soul maintenance. Your workouts aren’t just for your muscles; they’re for your emotional clarity, your groundedness. You’re training not just for strength, but for softness and steadiness.

Today’s version of you is building tomorrow’s foundation. You’re acting as if you’ve already arrived, living the now with presence and grace. And that, Irene, is such a beautiful thing to witness.

So carry on — purely, quietly, but unwaveringly.

You’re doing more than fine.

With love,

Yourself

Saturday in Need of Movement (05/03/2025)

How do I feel today?

After being forced to rest from exercise for two days, a wave of lethargy crept in. I need to get back to my routine and head out for a workout as soon as possible.

What do I want to do today?

Reading, exercising, and practicing becoming the future version of myself I admire.

Good:

Even though I had to take a break, my muscles recovered well. My body feels lighter. I think I’ll be fine if I just finish my routine mechanically and get the workout done.

Bad:

None.

 Today’s Learning:

"The body is the philosophy before philosophy." — Maurice Merleau-Ponty

✨ Today’s Realization:

When I opened my eyes this morning, I felt lethargic. A sense of emptiness lingered, no motivation, just a day I had to endure like *Homo Acer*.

But I know. Thankfully, I know the exact reason. It’s simple. I hadn’t exercised for two days. The body and mind are not separate. When you stop moving, your emotions stop too.

Thoughts, emotions, even the root of existence — it all starts with the body. So this emptiness and hollowness don’t require deep philosophical reflection. They simply call for movement. Exercise shifts emotions. Emotions bring life back.

That’s why I know: one good sweat and I’ll return to myself. I’m grateful I know this. This simple truth will carry me through today.

There is no greater strength in the world than purity.

Never lie — not even a small one. Always be pure, kind, and sincere.

Noble practices: gratitude journal / calendar planning / cleaning / laundry / assignments / supplement intake

Gratitude Note:

I am truly thankful that I can begin this day healthy and refreshed, without worry, and fill it with everything I desire.

Today’s Joy:

Today’s *one thing*: Enjoying exercise again after a while

Keywords: a contented heart = a happy heart ≠ striving / greed / anger / complaints = abundance in the heart = contentment = gratitude = abundant happiness

Condition & Physical Management:

Sleep:

8 hours (from 5 to 2). Sleep quality (high), skin (high), stamina (high), emotions (high), productivity (high), efficiency (high), creativity (high)

To maintain quality sleep, good skin, and strong condition, I must continue regular body massages and half-body baths.

A weekly detox day is essential.

Exercise & Nutrition:

Ultimate Goal: 30 minutes max = dopamine spike = avoid isolation = focus on compound movements / light weights / aerobic compound exercises

Workout Plan:

Lower body (hip contraction) → Lower body (hip & hamstring stretch) → Upper body (back) → Upper body (shoulders, triceps, biceps) → Full-body compound & cardio

A master remains composed in any situation, and an elite builds an environment where composure is always possible.

Exercise not for exercise’s sake — but for condition.

Practice:

Act as if it’s already achieved — today is practice for my future self.

Flow like water.

The true art of love is not to perform techniques.

The true art of conversation is to not perform techniques.

What I see and think now determines who I am now.

If I’m not enjoying something, it’s a sign something’s off.

The place I’m in now is my future.

Don’t scatter my fortune on meaningless things — focus on one.

Routine is a sacred act found through long trial and error.

Greet with your whole body.

Posture of the mind is posture of the body.

Silence, balance, immersion.
