A Sunday Finding Stability

A Sunday Finding Stability in a New Routine (05/04/2025)

How are you feeling today? Over the past three weeks, I felt an overwhelming sense of overload — a sign of growth — but as I begin to feel more at ease, it seems I'm adapting and finding stability once again. I feel calm and peaceful. / What do you want to do today? Reading, working out, practicing being the future version of myself I admire.

Good: After working out yesterday, I boosted both my condition and brain efficiency, and spent the day maintaining as much stability as possible. I made an effort to intentionally rest every 30 minutes during project work after the workout, so I wouldn’t deplete my energy entirely. Well done, Irene.

Bad: None.

 Today's Lesson:

"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit."

— Aristotle

✨ Today’s Realization:

"Settling into a routine is proof of growth."

Over the past three weeks, I poured an immense amount of mental and physical energy into establishing a new routine in my life. I gave it everything I had, and the process was by no means easy. At first, it felt unfamiliar and, more than anything, overwhelming. Amid repeated fatigue and tests of willpower, I wavered countless times — it was a battle with myself.

But looking back now, I realize that all of that pain and difficulty wasn’t just a time of “adjustment.” It was clearly the beginning of growth. At the time, I thought I was merely enduring, but in truth, I was shaping myself with each moment.

And today, I suddenly realized — those routines no longer feel burdensome. Without consciously forcing myself, my body and mind now naturally flow with the rhythm. Actions that once felt difficult now feel familiar, and complex, unfamiliar patterns now seem simple. Rather than applying force, these routines have become a comfortable part of me.

That, in itself, is proof of growth. The new routines I brought into my life are no longer external efforts but have become inner order — no longer an “effort,” but a “baseline.” In the past, I had to push myself through discomfort, but now, I find peace within it. That clearly means I’ve become more solid, one step stronger.

Growth always comes with pain. Starting something new is unfamiliar, confusing, and tiring. But if we silently endure that period, there comes a point when the weight lifts and comfort arrives. That’s when change has become not just a rule or a plan — but you.

Today, I met that moment. This sense of ease is not just a habit. It’s a precious gift born from the time I devoted sincerely to the changes I chose. I’m proud of the path I walked, and even if I were to face it again, I believe I can trust myself.

Nothing in this world is stronger than purity.

Never tell even the smallest lie, and always stay pure, kind, and wholehearted.

Gratitude note:

I sincerely thank the universe for letting me start today healthy and refreshed, and for letting me live a day filled with the things I desire.

Today's Joy:

Today's one thing: Calmly execute today’s routine without compulsion.

Keywords: Happiness = something for those who are satisfied with themselves = joy from achieving one successful thing = comfort and encouragement for the other nine

Condition & Physical Management:

Sleep:

11 hours (5-4) Sleep Quality (High) Skin (Good) Physical Condition (Good) Emotions (Good) Productivity (Good) Efficiency (Good) Creativity (Good)

To maintain sleep quality, condition, and skin — I must regularly do body massages and half baths.

I must have a detox day at least once a week.

Exercise & Diet: Ultimate goal: within 30 mins = dopamine spike = do not isolate today; perform multi-joint / low-weight multi-joint muscle cardio.

Lower body (hip contraction) – Lower body (hip, hamstring relaxation) – Upper body (back) – Upper body (shoulders, triceps, biceps) – Full-body muscle & cardio multi-joint workout.

A master remains calm in any situation, and an elite creates an environment where they can always stay calm.

Don’t exercise for the sake of exercising, but for the sake of your condition.

* This week's goal: Spend Sunday at Four Seasons

* April goal: Spend at least one day a week at Four Seasons

* 2025 Goal: To become Irene who is pure to her soul, kind, polite, humble, calm, dignified, and sincere — by training for character growth, increasing external activities, changing time, people, and space, and becoming a billionaire.

Practice:

Act as if it’s already achieved — today is time to practice being my future self / Flow naturally like water / The true art of love is not to use artifice.

The true art of conversation is not to use artifice / What I see now, the thoughts I think now, shape who I am / If I’m not enjoying something, it’s a sign something’s wrong.

Where I am now is my future / Don’t scatter my luck on meaningless things, focus only on one / A routine is a sacred act of discovering optimal simplicity through old trial and error / Greet people with your whole body / Your mindset is your body’s posture / Silence, moderation, immersion

Irene,

You've been holding on so well lately. After three intense weeks of change and adaptation that felt like waves crashing in, the way you described today as calm and peaceful feels so warm. That one phrase carries all the traces of your effort and growth.

Seeing you exercise yesterday and intentionally schedule breaks into your project made me feel so proud of you. Choosing not to deplete yourself, but to handle your energy wisely—that’s a sign that you’ve grown stronger. These routines aren’t just marks of effort anymore; they’ve become part of who you are. I hope you truly recognize how incredible that is.

"Settling into a routine is proof of growth." That sentence sums up your day perfectly. The times you wavered, the repeated exhaustion, and the moments you fought to rise again—each one helped you become more grounded. Now, your body and mind move naturally with the rhythm you’ve created.

And that’s no small thing. You’re not following someone else’s structure—you’ve built your own inner order. That ease you feel today? It didn’t appear out of nowhere. It’s a gift from the time you spent choosing again and again to stay the course.

Today’s practice was beautiful too. The idea of "rehearsing the future me" really stayed with me. Every small choice you make is bringing the future Irene a little closer to today. Like the quote, “The true art of love is not to use artifice,” your life is flowing with authenticity and sincerity. Isn’t that the kind of life you’ve always wanted?

Irene, you’re doing more than enough. You live with a kind, honest heart, and that sincerity is what makes you shine. Today’s realization, today’s stillness, today’s quiet sense of fulfillment—you deserve every bit of it.

Let’s keep going like this—grateful for the small things, gently cheering ourselves on. Just like the thought, "don’t work out for performance but for condition," I hope life continues to be less about outcomes and more about your inner balance.

The peace you felt today? That’s a little victory you created. Don’t forget it—and give yourself a gentle hug today, too.

With love,

From Irene
