겹쳐진 강
OVERRAPPING RIVER
수많은 사람들의 시대가 겹쳐진 우리는
하나의 거대한 강이 되어 소리 없이 흘러간다.
그 속에서 우리는 각자의 삶을 살아간다.
모든 인생의 시작점과 배경은 다르지만,
큰 흐름 속에서 ’우리'라는 고유한 가치를 만들어낸다.
우리는 계속 서로의 가치를 주고받으며, 현시대를
구성함과 동시에 새 시대의 일원이 된다.
개인이 강물의 큰 흐름을 바꿀 수는 없지만,
마치 물고기가 온 힘을 다해 흐름을 따라가듯.
예술가들 또한 그 흐름 속에 몸을 던진다.
예술가도 강도 멈추지 않는다.
예술가는 시대의 흐름을 증거하고 정리하며,
그 거대한 강물 속에서 우리만의 가치를 발견한다.
시대라는 큰 강물에서 개인이 끌어올린 이 ‘우리’는
오직 우리만이, 그리고 지금 이 순간에만 창조할 수
있는 의미 있는 가치이다.
우리가 다른 시대를 살아갈 수 없듯이,
우리는 우리 시대를 대표할 수밖에 없다.

Art x Shift
We, layered with countless eras of people,
become a vast river, flowing silently onward.
Within it, we each live our own lives.
Though the starting points and backgrounds of all lives differ, we create the unique value of
“us” within this great current.
Constantly exchanging and sharing our values,
we not only shape the present era but also
become members of a new age.
While individuals cannot change the course of
the river, like a fish swimming with all its might
tokeep up, artists, too, throw themselves into
the flow.
Artists, too, never stop the flow of the river.
They witness and organize the flow of their
time, discovering unique values within this
vast river.
This “us,” drawn forth by individuals from the
vast river of time, is a meaningful value that onlywe, in this moment, can create.
Just as we cannot live in a different era,
we can only represent the time we belong to.

변화를 시도하고자 아트쉬프트를 만들었습니다.
아트쉬프트는 예술이 단순한 결과물에 그치지 않고, 예술과 삶, 작가와 관객이 함께 어우러지는
공간입니다. 작업실, 전시공간, 카페, 굿즈샵이 결합된 이곳은 예술가의 창작 과정과 그 안에 담긴 고민,
서사를 자연스럽게 나누며, 예술이 일상 속에
스며드는 문화를 만들어가고자 합니다.
