초막절의 예수

*초막절이 다가오자, 예수의 형제들은 예수가 그들과 함께 예루살렘에 가기를 원했습니다.
예수가 말했어요, "내가 예루살렘에 갈 때가 아직 이르지 않았다."
마침내 그의 때가 되자, 예수는 예루살렘으로 가 성전에서 가르쳤습니다.
예수가 말했습니다, “나의 가르침은 하나님에게서 온 것이니 나의 말을 믿어야 한다."
어떤 사람들은 예수가 하나님이 보낸 자라 하였고, 또 어떤 사람들은 그것을 믿지 않았습니다.
많은 유대 지도자들은 예수가 그리스도, 즉 구세주임을 믿지 않았습니다.
그들은 예수를 죽이고 싶어 했어요.
유대 지도자들은 예수가 가르치는 동안 경비병을 보내 예수를 잡아 오도록 했습니다.
예수가 말했습니다, "목마른 사람은 누구든 내게 와 마시라."
경비병들은 예수를 잡지 않았어요. 그들에게 예수의 말은 매우 놀라웠던 것입니다.
유대 지도자들은 경비병들에게 몹시 화를 냈습니다.
예수님에 대해 들은 사람들 중 어떤 이들은 그가 구세주임을 믿었고 또 어떤 이들은 믿지 않았습니다.
When *the Feast of Tabernacles was near, Jesus' brothers wanted Jesus to go with them to Jerusalem for the celebration.
Jesus said, "It is not the right time for me to go to Jerusalem."
When it was the right time, Jesus went to Jerusalem. He went to the temple to teach.
Jesus said, "My teaching comes from God. You should believe what I say."
Some people believed Jesus was from God. Some people did not believe Jesus was from God.
Many leaders did not believe Jesus was the Christ.
They wanted to kill Jesus.
They sent guards to take Jesus while he was teaching.
Jesus said, "Whoever is thirsty may come to me and drink."
The guards did not take Jesus. They were amazed by the things Jesus said.
The leaders were angry at the guards.
When people hear about the Lord Jesus, some believe he is the Christ, and some do not.

* 초막절(The Feast of Tabernacles)은 풀로 집을 짓는 것을 기념한다는 의미로, 광야 생활을 기억하고 풍성한 수확을 하나님께 감사하는 이스라엘 절기다.
