언동마을 이야기
About An Doung village near Phnom Penh
프놈펜 공항에서 북서쪽으로 10km 떨어진 곳에 위치한 언동마을은 개발에서 밀려난 주민들 및 강제 이주당한 철거민들을 수용한 마을입니다. 마을이라 하지만 상하수도, 전기 등의 사회 기간시설도 없는 땅에서 많은 이들이 어렵게 삶을 이어가고 있습니다. 많은 NGO들이 이 마을을 위해 노력하고 있고 뒤늦게 프놈펜 시 차원에서 시장 건물을 짓고 전기 시설이 가설되었지만 여전히 많은 사람들의 삶의 터전이라고 하기에는 부족한 부분이 많습니다. 대부분의 어른들이 안정적이지 못한 일자리를 가지고 있을 뿐만 아니라 가정폭력 및 약물중독에 노출된 상황에서 아이들에 관심과 보살핌이 지속적으로 필요한 상황입니다.

언동마을 An Doung village, 20150620이에 한국 외방선교회가 2009년에 언동마을에서 시작한 탁아소는 2010년부터 원불교 청수나눔실천회에서 운영 중이며 월요일~금요일 아침 6시부터 저녁 6시까지 7개월~40개월 아이들을 돌보고 있습니다. 무료로 운영중이며 아이들은 오전, 오후 죽 두 번, 점심 한 끼, 간식과 목욕 세 번을 제공받고 동화책 읽기, 장난감 놀이, 음악 미술 수업 등을 청결하고 안전한 환경에서 함께합니다. 아이들은 이 곳에서 졸업하면 다른 NGO 학교나 공립학교로 진학하게 됩니다.
언동마을 An Doung village, 20150620An Doung village is about 10km away from Phnom Penh airport. Most people in the village are from Boeung Kak Lake. There have been recent development problems and other land dispute areas. There are more than 2800 people in this village but there is not adequate infastructure, education and poverty makes it difficult for many to take care of thier babies. Wonkwang Baby Care Center has been opened since 2009, 70 children between 7~40 months are staying from 6am to 6pm and for free. They receive three bath times, a lunch, and healthy snacks. They all play and eat together in a clean environment. After graduating from the center, they recieve another education service from other NGOs and government schools.
