로마에 있는 산타 마리아 델라 콘체치오네 성당' 카푸친 수도회로 알려진 이곳은 수도사 4천 명의 뼈로 만들어진 곳이다. 그곳에는 라틴어로 이렇게 적혀있다.

그들에게도 역시 한때 건강과 활력을 자랑하던 빛나는 시절이 있었지만 시간의 흐름은 막을 수 없는 것이다.
많은 이들이 현실에 치여 이렇게 유한한 자기 삶의 소중함을 놓치고 있다. 영원히 살 것처럼 걱정하고 두려워한다. 대중매체에서는 이를 더욱 조장하듯 상대적 박탈감을 초래하는 가십거리 기사를 매일같이 쏟아내며 안 그래도 지친 사람들에게 걱정거리를 머릿속에 심어두려고 노력한다.
그렇기에 항상 기억해야 한다.
