어쩌면 영영 스쳐 지나는 인연도 되지 못했을 작은 점들인 우리들이 이렇게 모여서 함께 나눈 대화가 어느덧 서로에게 힘이 되는 하나의 서클이 되었다.
내 모습 그대로를 사랑하는 이 친구들과 함께 있음이 감사했다. 친구들에게 말을 하면서 나는 내 생각을 들었다. I was grateful to be with these sisters who love as I am. I could hear what I was thinking talking to them.
“내 안에 있는 가치를 귀하게 여기는 사람들과 협업을 하고 있다. 나에게 없는 것들을 “넌 왜 그게 없니?”라고 묻는 사람들에게 굳이 설득하지 않는다. 나는 내 약점을 인정하는 것만큼 내가 내 가치와 강점을 파악하고 있다. 내 재능을 발휘하는 일로 사업을 하고, 내게 없는 자원을 탓하면서 세상과 타협하지는 않는다. 이게 나다.”
“I do collaborate with those who value what I have. I don’t persuade those who ask me for what I do not have. I know my value and strength while I acknowledge my weakness. I do not convince others any more about myself. I do my business with my gifts. I do not compromise what I want to do due to my lack of resources. This is me.”
