길

내가 가는 이 길이 어디로 가는지 어디로 날 데려가는지 

길에서의 우연이 평생의 인연이 되기도 한다. 

Boy 2,3

인도의 다람살라로 향하는 버스정류장. 

느지막이 올 버스를 대비해 소녀는 느지막이 도착해 인도(사람이 다니는)에 걸터앉아 있었다.     

누가 봐도 한국 남자 셋이 심각하게 대화 중인데 문제는... 다 들린다. 소녀도 한국인이니까. 

 남 1 : “형, 쟤 한국 사람 같지?”

 남 2 : “중국사람 같은데.. 몽골사람인가?” 

 남 3 : “말 걸어볼까..?”  

   

소녀 : '오지 마, 가던 길 가. 온다, 온다.'      

 남 3 : "안녕하세요. 한국 사람이세요?"     

순간 중국말을 해야 하나 몽골말을 해야 하나 고민했지만, 아쉽게도 중국말과 몽골말을 모른다.      

소녀 : "네, 안녕하세요."     

(남자들의 놀라는 표정, 호들갑 떠는소리. 익숙하다는 듯 바라보고 있는 소녀.) 

행운이다. 

길에서의 우연한 만남이 쇠심줄 같은 질긴 인연이 되어 서로에게 영감을 주는 좋은 여행 메이트이자, 방귀를 뀌며 성도 내는 편안한 사이가 되었다.  '아직까지는.' 

Road

As I sat on the sidewalk waiting for the bus to Dharamsala India something happened that later became clear was not just a  coincidences on the street it was going to create a lifelong relationship.

At the bus stop to Dharamsala, India.

I arrived late and sat on the sidewalk in time for the bus that was always late.     

Obviously (No matter who looks at it), three Korean men were hanging around me, whispering. 

 ( But I can hear it all.)

 Boy1 : " Hey, is he a  'he' or is he a 'she'?" ”  

 Boy2 : " I think a 'she'... "

 Boy3 : " No, I think he's a  he! Shall we talk to him?

 'Don't come... don't come.'

"Hello, are you Korean?"

(For a moment, I hesitated to speak in a man's voice, but I'm a woman so...)

"Yes, Hello."     

After that, we've been in a relationship like a rubber band for over a decade. 

The relationship so far is very good. So, far...
