학교 프레젠테이션 과제로 음악들을 좀 알아보다가 불현듯 Prince가 생각났다. 친구랑 도쿄에 여행갔을 때에 음반 매장에서 막 타계한 Prince를 추모하는 코너가 있었는데, 둘 다 노래에 꽂혀 한국으로 오는 공항 버스에서 계속 얘기를 나누던 것이 생각났다. 그런데 한국 음원 사이트에서는 오랫동안 유통이 되지 않아 그렇게 잊혀져가고 있었는데 이번에 다시 검색해보니 우왓! 음원이 바로 얼마 전 나왔다. 그 중 Original이라는 음반은 그동안 Prince가 다른 가수들에게 줬던 데모곡들을 묶어 낸 앨범인데, 퀄리티가 장난없다. 데모곡 맞아? 한 곡 한 곡 너무 다 다른 느낌인데 이걸 한 사람이 만들었다니. 레트로 장인 프린스.
