자전거의 본질은 자유

Bike make me feel what freedom looks lik

자전거란 지극히

개인적인 취미다.

가끔 “같이 타자”고 하는

분들도 계시는데

고마운 인사치레임을

잘 안다.

자전거에는

내가 원할 때 마음대로

떠나고 돌아올 자유,

이리저리 거닐다

아무 때나 쉴 수 있는 자유,

변덕이 이끄는 대로

몸을 맡길 수 있는

자유가 있다.

페달을 밟는 순간,

혼자 생각하고,

오롯이 나에게만

집중할 수 있는

자유가 생긴다.

자유는

자전거의 본질이다

I believe bike is a hobby to enjoy alone.

People sometime say to me

"Let's ride it together".

I feel thanks

but hardly to enjoy it together.

Seating on my bike,

I definitely have the freedom

to leave and return whenever i want,

and feel free to entrust

my body to whatever whim leads me.

The moment I step on a pedal,

I have the freedom to think alone

and focus solely on myself.
