I Don't Know
당장 미래에 벌어질 일들을 우리는 모른다.
우리는 우리가 모른다는 것을 인정해야 한다.
확률적으로 추측만 할 뿐이다.
'그럴 수도 있다.'라는 개방적인 마인드는
변화에 맞닿아 반응할 수 있는 여유를 안겨 준다.
확신의 희망은 기대의 설렘을 갖게 한다.
기대 뒷면에는 실망이라는 슬픔이 도사릴 수 있다.
그렇기에 좋고 싫음의 선호는 갖되 기대는 갖지 말자
미래는 어떻게 될지 모르니
과정을 즐기고 현재에 충실하며 도전을 습관화하자.
시도해보지 않고서는 어떤 결과가 있을지 모른다.
시도 자체에 큰 의미가 있다.
우리의 생각은 말과 글로서 정리되고 표현되며
이를 현실로 이루게 하는 것은 도전과 행동이다.
도전과 행동 전에는 무슨 일이 일어날지 모른다!
생각과 말의 힘은 너무나 강렬하기에
우리를 부자로 만들어 줄 에너지를 이끌어준다.
가장 중요한 행위가 첨가되면
실질적으로 부자는 현실화가 된다.
복권을 사거나, 새로운 일자리와 사업에 도전을 하는 실행이 그것이다.
생각과 말 또한 실행만큼 중요하게 여겨진다.
그래서 회사에서도 '기획실' 혹은 '전략부서'가 존재하며
군대에서도 '작전본부' 혹은 '지휘총괄'이 있는 것이다.
이러한 창의적이고 혁신적이며 기발한 아이디어를
문서화하고, 실행할 수 있는 체계를 만드는 것. 그것이 내 안에 필요하다.
하나님이 기뻐할 일을 생각하고, 글로 옮기고, 행동으로 실행한다.
나는 '대자유인'을 추구하며 수련과 기도와 묵상을 생활화하고 있는 만큼
틀에서 벗어나 스스로를 찾고
영적 성장을 이룰 수 있는 '온전한 준비'를 각 개인이 할 수 있기를 바라여
30여 편의 글을 계획하였고, 이제 29번째 글인 '모른다' 챕터로 접어들었다.
나의 '온전한 준비'가 타인을 준비시키는 데 얼마나 도움이 될지는 모른다.
이 글은 나의 완성에 이르는 수련의 길목에서 나를 돌아보며 작성되었다.
나는 완성을 추구한다.
모든 것은 그 자체로 완벽하지만, 미완성의 상태다.
완성을 추구한다는 것은 신을 닮아간다는 얘기다.
영적 성장과 발전을 위한 인생을 살고 있고,
그리고 완성의 길을 걷고자 하는 분들께 도움이 되고프지만
얼마나 도움이 될지는 모르겠다.
모른다는 것은 참 솔직하면서도 겸손한 표현이다.
오늘도 모름 속에 있지만
제대로 된 방향과 길로 삶을 인도해 주시는 하나님과 동행하며
이 길을 걷고 있으니 두려움이 없다.
모르는 가운데 앎의 행복으로 축복과 은혜가 가득한 삶이 되길 응원한다.
We don't know what will happen in the immediate future.
We must admit that we don't know.
We can only make probabilistic guesses.
An open mind that says, 'it could be,' gives us the flexibility to respond to change.
The hope of certainty brings the thrill of expectation. Yet, behind expectation, the sadness of disappointment can lie in wait. So, let's have preferences for what we like and dislike, but not expectations. Since we don't know what the future holds, let's enjoy the process, be faithful to the present, and make challenges a habit.
Unless you try, you don't know what the outcome will be. There is great meaning in the attempt itself. Our thoughts are organized and expressed through words and writing, but what turns them into reality is challenge and action. You don't know what will happen before you challenge yourself and take action!
The power of thought and words is so strong that it draws forth the energy that can make us rich. When the most important action is added, true wealth becomes a reality. This action is what happens when you buy a lottery ticket or take on the challenge of a new job or business.
Thought and words are considered as important as action. That's why companies have a 'Planning Department' or a 'Strategy Department,' and the military has an 'Operations Headquarters' or 'Command and Control.' To document these creative, innovative, and brilliant ideas and create a system to implement them—that is what I need within myself.
I think about what God would be pleased with, put it into writing, and carry it out through action. As I pursue the path of a truly free person and make training, prayer, and meditation a part of my life, I hope that each individual can make the 'full preparation' to break free from the mold, find themselves, and achieve spiritual growth. I planned about 30 articles and have now entered the 29th one, the chapter 'I Don't Know.'
I don't know how much my 'full preparation' will help others prepare. This article was written as I looked back at myself on the path of training toward my own completion. I pursue completion. Everything is perfect in itself, yet in a state of incompleteness. To pursue completion is to become more like God. I am living a life for spiritual growth and development, and I want to be of help to those who wish to walk the path of completion, but I don't know how much help I can be.
To say 'I don't know' is a very honest and humble expression. Even though I am in a state of not-knowing today, I have no fear because I am walking this path alongside God, who guides my life in the right direction.
I hope you have a life filled with blessings and grace, with the happiness of knowing amidst the unknown.
