The Meaning of 2 Stone Tablets

신명기(Deu) 10장
10. 내가 처음과 같이 사십 주 사십 야를 산에 머물렀고 그 때에도 여호와께서 내 말을 들으사 너를 참아 멸하지 아니하시고
10. Now I had stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights, as I did the first time, and the LORD listened to me at this time also. It was not his will to destroy you.
11. 여호와께서 내게 이르시되 일어나서 백성보다 먼저 길을 떠나라 내가 그들에게 주리라고 그들의 조상들에게 맹세한 땅에 그들이 들어가서 그것을 차지하리라 하셨느니라
11. “Go,” the LORD said to me, “and lead the people on their way, so that they may enter and possess the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.”
12. 이스라엘아 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 요구하시는 것이 무엇이냐 곧 네 하나님 여호와를 경외하여 그의 모든 도를 행하고 그를 사랑하며 마음을 다하고 뜻을 다하여 네 하나님 여호와를 섬기고
12. And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God ask of you but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in obedience to him, to love him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul,
13. 내가 오늘 네 행복을 위하여 네게 명하는 여호와의 명령과 규례를 지킬 것이 아니냐
13. and to observe the LORD’s commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good?
The reason that God made another stone tablet is only because of His love toward His people as we humans need any guidance to follow in order to live our good lives. He never wanted to destroy us and He also made the 10 commandments for our own good, not for His sake.
We here, means the people who are willingly to follow His guidance, accepting God as our Creator, Jesus as our Savior and the Holy Spirit as our counselor as well. Then, I can say that we are His adopted children who were like fatherless orphans living in darkness, but we were saved by His merciful and loving hands. He shows no partiality and accepts no bribes according to verse 17.
I can strongly say that His Word has played a great role of navigation in my life as I often get lost and there was no other counselor except it. Surprisingly, whenever I ask in a voice or through my heart, it used to answer me, helping me make a good decision and go to the right way. It doesn't mean seemingly good, speedy, and wide highways, rather i often had to go to the seemingly bad, rough, and narrow roads. But I could go through it because I was sure that He would lead me to a good and right way, not the way of destruction and failure.
In a nutshell, His Word is for our own goid and if we trust Him and follow His commands and are careful to do everything, we could have blessed lives in His guidance and with His love ❤️.
