스타트업에서 맞는 첫 새해

스타트업에서 맞는 첫 새해는 기존에 다니던 회사보다는 조금 (혹은 많이) 덜 명확하고, 덜 확실하고, 덜 충분하고, 덜 안정적이다. 

예산이나 지원, 인력이나 자원 등은 다니던 회사들보다 훨씬 더 부족하거나 빡빡하다. 

그러다 보니 더 중요한 것, 먼저 해야 할 것들과 더 하고 싶은 것 그리고 더 이루고 싶은 것들을 더욱 치열하게 생각한다.

우리의 치열한 생각은 올해, 후년, 그리고 3년에서 5년 그 이후까지의 계획으로 나타난다. 

스타트업에서 맞는 첫 새해는 기존에 다니던 회사보다는 많이 (혹은 조금) 더 설레고, 더 기대되고, 더 희망차며, 더욱더 꿈꾸게 된다. 

The first new year at a startup is a little (or a lot) less clear, less certain, less sufficient, and less stable than at my former company.

The budget, support, manpower, and resources are much tighter or tighter than the companies I used to work for.

As a result, we think more intensely about the more important things, the things we need to do first, the things we want to do more of, and the things we want to achieve more.

Our intense thoughts show up in our plans for this year, the next year, and three to five years beyond.

The first new year at a startup is a lot (or a little) more exciting, more hopeful, and more dreamy than the company I used to work for.
