카타르에서 전하는 첫 편지
Flew back to Qatar where my soul was
인천공항 탑승 전 게이트 앞에서
카타르로 향하는 비행기 안에서
지금 도착해서 쓴 글 전해요.
I send you this writing that I wrote in Incheon airport waiting at the gate, inside of the airplane otw to the Qatar and when I arrived to Qatar now.
카타르에 잘 도착했어요.

I said good bye to my parent and walk to the security. As soon as I turned back, tear dropped down.
시큐리티를 들어가기 전 부모님에게 조심히 집에 가라고 카타르를 즐기고 오겠다고 뒤돌아서서
시큐리티를 향해 뒤돌아 걸어가는데 눈물이 펑펑 나와버렸다.
여권을 확인하고 마스크를 내리라는 직원에게 보여준 내 얼굴은 울음을 꾹 참지만 눈에 눈물이 가득한 모습이었다.
I don’t know if it’s because I went through hard times with the redundant and rejoining or I realised the preciousness of family when I’m back to Korea, it wasn’t same like the first time.
정리해고와 리조이닝으로 맘고생을 해서인지, 한국에 돌아와 가족의 소중함을 더 느껴서인지 두 번째 돌아가는 카타르 길 처음과 같지 않았다.
When I arrived to the accommodation in Doha, I was about to feel empty alone again. My friend who lived in same building before, she came with the flower and I cried again as soon as I see her.
숙소에 도착해 또 텅 빈 공간에 혼자 공허감을 느낄 찰나, 전에 같은 건물에 살았던 친구가 꽃을 들고 찾아와 보자 마자 울음이 또 터졌다.
I think my mind was still in Qatar even tho my body had to come to Korea suddenly with the redundant.
갑작스러운 정리해고 후 내 몸은 한국에 돌아왔어도 마음은 카타르에 남아 있었나 보다.
I feel like I’m back to where my mind was.
마음이 있던 곳으로 돌아온 느낌이다.
People live by love.
사람은 사랑으로 살아간다.
In Korea and in Qatar as well, there are people and love so I can stand up again and live.
한국에도 카타르에도 사람들과 사랑이 있기에 내가 또 일어서서 살아갈 수 있다.
People who encouraged me when I’m back to Korea and cheered me up when I was in hard time, I’ll live appreciating and loving them and everyone.
카타르에서 한국을 돌아왔을 때 저에게 어떤 힘든 일이 있어도 곁에 있어주고 아끼지 않는 응원을 해주는 주변 분들과 모든 분들께 감사하며 사랑하며 살아가겠습니다.
